Verify the boundary lines.

+1 and +2 and +3

I didn't back in the early 80's with a property and cost me $3000 to make my
neighbors happy. Amazing as it seems...we all became good friends.

i did not, we had a few people come out and get estimates. We talked it over and decided that we might only be in this house another 2-3 years and didnt want to invest the 4-5k into the house and potentially have to do it again at the next house (would probably get the money back in pushing up asking price if we did sell).

The housing market is crazy stong here right now. I paid $138500 almost three years ago, spoke to my relator friend who said he would list it today for 169950, just nothing available in the area and when they do pop up, they are under contract in under a week. With that being said if we don't have a kid or two....... we don't need a bigger house

I use to . Buried the wire along perimeter it worked however it traumatized one of my dogs big time to where he was afraid to go out. My wife once dared me to try it and see how it felt. Haha she cranked that sucker up yes it will wake your ass up . My other dog would run through it did not care.
I ended up fencing in my yard .

yeah we ultimately decided against the electric and were considering wood but I am not sure what we are going to do because it was alot more than I anticipated and not sure I will be in this house long enough to make it worth it. Ugh.

If you install a wood fence you want to get a post hole digger put in sonor tubes pour concrete with a pressure treated 4by4 so you can slightly elevate your fencing off the ground or that sucker will rot. You can get it done in a weekend one day to pour one day to hang. Don’t need Jose or hose b you can do it.

A cheaper option is that 3 foot green wire fencing you can attach to the metal stakes you bang in ground every so many feet . I planted bare root privet hedge like 10-15 years ago and put this on the inside so if your yard has no coverage guess it can stand out. I see these installed on new swimming pool installations to get certificate of occupancy from town then there removed. This could be your cheapest option . Just get some tent stakes to secure bottom every so many feet so dogs can’t tunnel under. I got basset hounds and they just constantly go around perimeter looking for way out.
