I would say the main differences between our products would be experience and resources.

We have been doing the same thing for almost 15 years. We have had plenty of time to work out all of the kinks, which allows us to deliver an extremely stable product. Because of our early start, we are able to focus on our customer’s needs and suggestions. We try to implement any (legitimate:103631605 ) suggestions we receive, which in turn means a feature-rich and very user-friendly product.

Additionally, our company is very dedicated to allocating whatever resources we need. In the past 18 months we have spent over $250,000 in system upgrades and improvements. Because of this we are able to delivery 99.9% uptime on all of our systems.

Under resources, I also include manpower. We have a staff of over 25 employees, the majority of whom are dedicated to researching injury and other game information. Our offices are staffed over 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most of our guys have been with us for many years, so they are very good at what they do.

Rick, thanks for your answer, I found it very honest. I agree with most of what you said in it. My, you and I have come a long way, and I truly would like to meet you at this years bash ;).

All the books listed on our service also include ML and RL. And there are a few more actually being added along with some top vegas books.

Please check into the following:

.NET has caused a ... would you like to continue or quit? I get this error message several times a day, if I keep the program logged in.

Also, the program, even when not displaying the .NET message abruptly shuts down. I have to re-load the program and all is fine.

And finally, I have found a FEATURE that you need to install in your next update ... Allow CRUCIAL LINE MOVES to be sent to a cell phone, like the competitor does. This is VERY handy for those of us who need to have a line update while we are away from the computer screen.

I really like the product. I just hope can get the .NET issue and shutting down of the program issue resolved quickly. I am really giving it serious thought to switching from DBS Premium to your service.

We are working on a mobile product that will allow you to view lines from your selected sportsbooks, urgent messages, Major Line moves and more. We are shooting for a September 1st launch.

I just got may ass handed to me by one of our programmers, so let me add a third section to my previous post - technology.

Again, because we have had so much time to figure this out, and because our programmers are so brilliant :103631605 , we are able to offer products that will work on almost any platform. Our Express Odds and Premium Odds products will work with Windows, Mac, Linux and just about every browser available.

Okay, now I don’t have to sleep with one eye open!

It should be. We are working with a company that has a ton of experience in the mobile market place.

As soon as mobile technology catches up, we will be offering a real-time mobile solution that will mimic the speed of our Premium Odds service.

I am aware of the bug you are talking about. It has been fixed, and is in its final testing 'in-house' A new download should be available very shortly (as I stated earlier in this thread).

Is Sam still the head guy over there Rick? My buddy has worked with him and will concur on your statement about him being brilliant.

Our product at current state is a downloadable solution only and will only work with Windows. So if platform is an issue you have to give the edge to Don Best, well actually... DB is your only solution. However, if price is an issue and you are a windows user, I still think GJ has a slight edge. But dont let us make up your minds, try both products and give your own opinion. He has been gracious enough to give out a free pass, I would take advantage if I were you guys. They have a strong subscriber base, so that offer doesnt come around often. Since we are a newer company and still building, we always have that offer available right at our homepage, and probably will never do away with it.

If you downloaded should have corrected your problem. If not let me know.

Mobile as in Text Message? Or built onto a PDA device?

I can look into text messaging today, shouldnt be too difficult.

About the PDA, I have done a lot of work in that area. I am actually in talks with some of the people that want to design some of the mobile devices for the local casinos out here. I have some good ideas for it, and I have already written some programs for the ipaq, so moving the line service over wont be difficult. Just waiting for that technology to catch up.

The update appears to have fixed the minor bug.

I would love to see a feature, such as when a CRUCIAL line move happens, for it to be able to be sent to my cell phone as a text message.

For instance, I have Nextel. Hypothetically, GM # 964 LSU - 7 to - 8.5 @ Grande, Hollywood and CRIS just moved. All that information, under 220 characters, could be sent to 225252XXXX@messaging.nextel.com .

I am often away from my computer, but I would love to be in the know when a line changes and the text messaging feature is a great option that DBS offers.

Thanks again for the free trial period and for being here on a regular basis.

Just to bring this back up, I've tried both services and find them complementary as well as competitive..

But has any consideration been given to accepting Neteller -- the monthly payment increases by about 10% for me with foreign exchange fees charged by my bank on credit card purchases.

I can look into that as well as other payment options. You do also have the option of paying by check, MO, or cash. Let me see what I can find out about the netteller situation.

G & J has caught DB in everything but price. DB is a great product of course but G & J is more functional for my purposes. Less bells & whistles and that's the way I want it. G & J has less misleading injury info also.....Scotty

Cutting a cheque in US$ and International Money orders both add to the price -- it's the international aspect that's the problem.. cash is also an option I guess, but a neteller account would be good for international custom...

A neteller person-to-person transfer is always possible if you don't have/get a merchant account -- I've done that with a couple of companies, but a merchant account is obviously a better solution.

I am in the middle of redesigning a new site. It should be finished today. As soon as it is I will look into alternate methods of payment. I really do like the idea of netteller so I am going to see what it takes to get them up as a payment method.

Can Don Best or G&J update get Tradesports up on thier services?

I know Statfox has them up. ( I know they aren't are real-time line service)

I use DB Premium which is fanstatic. Going to trial G&J this week.
