I was going to call him the biggest attention whore next to Lady Gaga, but then i saw proceeds are going to the boys and girls club of america.

Another point, does he have the heart to backstab cleveland for an espn special? Something tells me he's just staying there and he wants a loud applause when he makes the decision on national tv.

The media is leading this circus ,not Lebron. He could just let this drag on but he's not doing that. This is for charity, nothing wrong with that. He's milking the cow for the kids.Good man.

i agree espn is definently behind this. they know there viewing demo and what they want. they know they will get mucho viewers during this announcement show which is why they are doing it, and to be the exclusive first place where lebron announces. kind of how cbs gets first dibs on brackets.

i dont care either way, im just amazed at how big this has gotten.

ESPN probably offered him a couple hundred thousand to do it this way. Can't blame the guy, he has to announce it anyway. Might as well make a few extra bucks.

Lebron called ESPN not the other way. And this charity angle is just a cover. This is pure ego. Lebron could just dig into his own pocket and give money to charity. Pure B.S.
