Palazzo is the only Casino in Vegas that I have never been to yet. However the Palazzo is actually just an extension of the Venetian and it's connected to it and much like Caesars and their many towers. I just happen to have it on my list to visit today. I will report back but I think its not fair to say that they don't have a Sportsbook .... Does Caesars have a Sportsbook for every tower they have added ? Pallazzo just had their opening a few weeks back and I try to avoid opening dates for obvious reasons. I will report back later after I have visited today.

Palazzo is it's own hotel, it's a sister property to Venetian.
It's not just an added tower like the Agustus or Palace towers are at Ceasars.
The new resort going up at the Stardust location not having a book says it all.
Speaking of Caesars, when they booked dog racing,I tried to put 20wp on a dog and they wouldn't let me.They wouldn't take a 40 dollar bet from me LOL. They did let me bet 10wp.

For tax purposes and not signing papers, yes I would bet offshore, but only at a top tier book such as CRIS, GRANDE, OLY, or Pinnacle...maybe even with Steak Tartar if he had the cojones..:lolBIG:

I know gambling winnings can be offest by gambling losses on your taxes. But just curious, what is the tax if someone won 1 million dollars on the SB. Is it 28%, a whopping $280K ??

Little Ceasars, Churchill Downs,Gary Austin's, Leroy's, and The Rose Bowl were places that had tons of stories as Sugarbear can attest to...and a cast of characters...good old days for sure!:drink:
I can't believe nothing ever happened to Gary Austin. How he landed on his feet in Costa Rica amazes me. That must have been some robbery at Gary Austins Race and Sportsbook. He has lived a charmed life.

Once again I have to say that you guys are simply smoking some good stuff. I live here and I can assure you that you can get down any wager your budget lets you wager ! Golden Nugget, Plaza ? Give me a break ! Did you see me mention any of those Books ? Why do you think Barkley, Jordan and other big rollers head to Vegas to get their action in ? Any day of the week or year and you can get down big action ! There are always those that want to belittle Vegas but they simply don't know where to go !

I agree with you completely. I have never had a problem wagering what I want at the LV Hilton.

I'm sorry to differ with you but there is a article in Wikepedia that explains that although they tried to market and potray it as a seperate Casino resort, it is actually an extension of The Venetian Casino Resort. It operates under the Venetian gambling license and it shares the same slot club with the Venetian. I had lunch there this afternoon and I will assure you that they are pretty much one and the same place. It was actaully very dead over there and it is quite a walk to the Venetian Sportsbook. Why anyone here would want to stay there is beyond me ! Don't get me wrong... It is very classy place but their Video Poker payouts were pathetic although I didn't have a chance to really check them all out.
The Las Vegas Advisor here in Las Vegas has quite an article on it and they call it the Venetian/Palazzo Complex and they say that since they are connected, it makes it the biggest hotel Complex in the World with a combined 7,128 rooms !

ok I thought it was more of it's own entity.

I wouldn't expect to find any decent video poker there or anywhere on the strip anymore.
On to the Superbowl......
