Eat a dk Serbone...you are a POS troll...no one here likes you.

You know exactly what you said...no resources. And yet, when I rebutt your ridiculous KNOW NOTHING statement, you change directions...now play the victim.

Guessing you voted for Kamala.. Have a nice day, post some fades, please.

It is not the money
LSU has the resources to go all the way to the National Championship
Mississippi does not
Whenever 'money" is one of the options its always a factor. I agree, its LSU, and I also agree, LSU's odds of winning a national championship, are far greater then ole Miss. I think Miss peaked this year. He has to move.

I also think he'll bring some of the rebels talent with him.

Lastly, I think college fb needs a czar, or some rules now that the NCAA is completely impotent. Its nuts to have coaches changing teams when theres still so much at stake.
I think if he was staying he'd have already announced it. Funny, the last 2 people he wants to talk to are Sabin and Carroll. Pete promised Lanes dad, who coached the def for him, he'd look after Lane, after he passed away.

Lane Kiffin will hold a 9am team meeting Sunday morning, and have an announcement regarding his future afterwards.

At the end of the day, none of what we say means anything

I respect people more that tend to honor their commitments. Nobody is ever going to say that about Kiffin. He has a history

I do have a question. How many coaching careers does LSU get to destroy? 😊

WTF Willie? That’s offensive to me as an LSU alum. Exactly why do you think LSU has “destroyed” coaching careers? Which coaching careers are you referring to?

By the way, he's 50 years old and has no idea how to act like an adult. He's saying he needs to call Saban and wishes he could talk to his dad.

Fired and humiliated on the tarmac at USC, fired and humiliated by Saban at Alabama. His time in TN was pretty revealing.

Al Davis rolled out an overhead projector to fire him! ("disgrace to the organization")

Learned nothing, acts like a child. Of course another university wants to give him $12 million a year.

The whole system is broken.

Kiffin's present salary is ~ 9 million, and ole Miss and LSU are both talking 15-ish. plus 25 million for nil money to draw top rate players, plus money for asst coaches and staff.

I will be stunned, if he doesn't go to LSU. Mississippi had their best season ever, this year. But theres a sizeable gap between winning 10 games, and getting in the playoff, and winning it.

i believe this mornings announcement will be swan song for ole Miss, I'm taking my talents to Baton Rouge. I have no axe to grind, don't especially like either school.

Kiffin just hit 50, funny thing about 0 birthdays, reflection, goals achieved, future goals etc. My guess is if kiffin wins a few nat'l championships, he'll then be off to the nfl. 7- 10 years. After all coaches that won it all in both, are put on another level, jimmy Johnson, barry Switzerl and Kiffins mentor, Pete Carroll. Actually there is a 4th, Paul Brown, who did it during WWII, 1942.

That is the Mt Rushmore (one of them, anyway) of fb coaching. Winning either is really tough. But crossing over to win both, thats historic. Remember Pete Carroll coached with kiffins dad. And has been Kiffins mentor, just as monte kiffin was pete carrolls mentor. Kiffin was on USC's staff with Carroll when they won b2b national championships 2003, 2004, not to mention leading in a third straight, up 9 points vs texas & vince young at the rose bowl, Kiffin was a part of all 3.

So the stars align. Kiffin to LSU, win a nati and then at the right time move on to a solid nfl contender.

lol, of course he could put major holes in this when he makes THE announcement.

C'mon man, lighten up. Maybe laugh a little

From where I'm sitting

Brian Kelly
Ed Orgeron
Les Miles

Maybe they shouldn't be on the hot seat after a disappointing loss 😉

That can't help with recruiting or retaining

College football and college basketball are complete cess pools. Character means nothing.

It is kind of crazy watching LSU fans get excited for this given Kiffin's track record. Do they realize what they are buying?

Where will Lane Kiffin be coaching in 2029?

Ole Miss 8%
LSU 2%
Oregon St or it's 90% equivalent

Maybe he can replace the fired Jim Mora at Colorado St

Willie, I think you are wrong, Kiffins had enough bumps and bruises along the way, he now only 'falls' up. Its a subset of nepotism. at 32 he got the raiders hc job, went 5-15. Largely on the strength of the 2001 to 2006 work with USC.. You think his age, and flame out in Oakland (2007-2008) would require a stint as an asst. Nope, hes 116-53, as head coach 2009 to 2025, at Tenn., USC, Fla Atl, and Ole Miss.

He's going to LSU, but the demand he be allowed to coach rebels through playoffs makes no sense, unless hes staying. Logically, you'd think he want the bowl practice time to get a jump start on assessing and coaching the LSU players. Unless its machiavellian, if I leave now do I risk alienating the rebel players I do want to poach? If the administration, forces me to go (if i'm going) and skip the playoff, I can save face. You don't only fall up, unless you are really smart, and preimagine all of the land mines in your path.

This has been an entertaining soap opera. Bizarre, but interesting. Funniest aspect, Fla actually having the balls to say "We've decided to go a different way". lmao. They decided. Yeah right.

Time will tell. If he doesn't win at LSU immediately, almost yesterday, he will be on the hot seat. That's my point

And I think FAU may be the only coaching job he left on good terms, and that's only because they understood they were a stepping stone
