It is not the money
LSU has the resources to go all the way to the National Championship
Mississippi does not
Not true - albeit LSU has deeper pockets, but 90 million is no issue for UM.

It's a matter of the chancellor, board and focus of the school as a whole.

It's a huge mistake if UM lets him go....

IMO its more about ego and 105k seat stadium.

you guys aren’t talking about the real reason.

LSU has more talent in a 100 mile radius by a huge margin. It is far easier for a coach to get elite o linemen, d linemen, corners, etc at LSU than ole miss.

Wasn't your statement...Ole Miss just happens to be the fastest growing enrollment in the SEC

https://olemiss.edu/news/2024/11/fall-enrollment-2024/index.html - and that is from two years ago. Records expected to be smashed again this coming year.

Kids from all over the world are attending...over half of the new enrollment is out of state coeds.

The Greek network there (although not my thing) is rivaled by no one.

The women are beautiful...tens are a dime a dozen.

The town and campus is beautiful, the people are friendly and hospitable, and its a first class operation all the way around.

Seriously, there is nothing even close. Maybe Auburn being a close second.

But I'm sure you've been there.

He's proven he can win at Mississippi, that will only help with recruiting going forward

That he can't win it all at Mississippi poppycock is the same nonsense they were saying about Jim Calhoun and UConn basketball. So I have a front row seat to that nonsense.

You can't do it, until you start doing it

If he leaves, I hope he's on the hot seat in 2028

So highest enrollment wins NCAA football championships?

Oh, sorry I guess I don’t understand football.

SEC football to U Conn hoops?

Not an apples to apples comparison, as bean counters I’ve known would say

My argument is 1000% relevant

He can obviously win at Mississippi, in SEC Football. Because he's already done just that

I am talking NCAA Championships, not just "winning".

LSU won three NCAA Championships in the recent years I cited, Mississippi none.

I do not believe in coincidences.

What I am saying is Kiffin realizes it is much, much more likely he can win the NCAA Championship at LSU, not Mississippi, based upon all the various factors involved.

Eat a dk Serbone...you are a POS troll...no one here likes you.

You know exactly what you said...no resources. And yet, when I rebutt your ridiculous KNOW NOTHING statement, you change directions...now play the victim.

Guessing you voted for Kamala.. Have a nice day, post some fades, please.

And at one time Notre Dame was the greatest program on the planet.

And LSU was trash.

Fuk are you dense.

UConn didn't even make the NCAA Tournament for decades. We were one and done in the Big East Tournament

Now we have six titles in 25 years

You have to start somewhere. And Ole Miss is in the playoffs this year, don't think anything more needs to be said. You can obviously win at Mississippi

Time will do it's thing

Serbone is correct. OM nor MSU will ever win a football championship…ever! OM had a fairly easy SEC slate this season and it will show in the CFP. Both schools are good for baseball championships and that’s about it.
