Happens every year, ruins the bowl games, makes a lot of them irrelevant along with players sitting out for the NFL and players sitting out to transfer
The NCAA screwed up a good thing, and the liberal courts hurt the game, too

RULES SHOULD BE:

1. No written or verbal offers can be made to a HC, OC, or DC that is in a bowl game until that game is OVER. Severe penalty to school and agent and coach if violated
2. Head Coach or OC or DC that leaves a school for another school CANNOT take ANY player to his new school for one year
3. Players may transfer ONCE, if they transfer a 2nd time, they must SIT a year
4. Schools and individual players have an NIL CAP, I would have to study the data but something like $750K a player and some cap for the total team

The only thing that could delay that announcement would be if Auburn beats Alabama.....that would put Ole Miss in the SECCG and Lane would like to coach that.
But, the agreement is already in place and Kiffen will be the next coach at LSU.

I think that Kiffin is making a mistake going to LSU. He's got it made at Ole Miss, with not much pressure. The expectations and pressure at LSU are off the charts and unrealistic, plus having to live in Baton Rouge.
