Diamond STOLE money, be it from their employees or from the players they are still not paying their debts. In Costa Rica we have severance pay when somebody is fired. In the States there is welfare, in Canada there is Unemployment Insurance. All three serve the same purpose. They are a systemic way of social security that tries to guarantee that when somebody is fired they have an oportunity to get back on their feet. Be it for re-training or just to hold on until a decent offer comes by.

Besides their social security money they are also NOT paying the money owed for the last couple of weeks worth of work. Even the most colsed-minded reactionary and conservative of you will agree that people should be paid for work done.

truthBeTold is right to be angry. He entered a contract with DSI and they welched on it. It is the same as NOT PAYING WINNERS. The same thing. You have somebodys word and legal obligation to stand by their debts.

Would never play at Diamond, they have always had alot player issues...

I would recommend all players stay FAR away. Alot of these posters here have interest in these books they post for...

Even more crap than usual around here lately be careful guys...

I don't have a clue who Truth is, or what his "contract" with DSI is or calls for.

Does he have a "special" sort of employment contract with them?

Can't believe the Mods at RX allow Joey C to make such assertions:

he has the same contract anybody working in CR does, one based on Garantas Sociales, instituted back in the 1940's.

CR salaries are very low compared to the US. I am sick of operators coming in and trying to screw people over. If you work you have to get paid. Employers have obligations the same as Employees. A couple of weeks pay is NOT severance after an extended period of work. If you are based in CR you have to obey the "Codigo de Trabajo", our laws regulating employment. Severance pay is explained there.

You dont even know if your statement is true or false. Said so yourself in the subsequent post. Who are you to make such an assertion anyways. That statement should never have been made nor should it be allowed to stand. Period.

Your 2 posts dont require a yes or no answer from me. They cry out for a defense or retraction from you.

Post 1 you accuse the guy of working illegally.

Post 2 you say you dont know anything about him or his contract.

Which is it?? Or do you have free reign to make any assertion you wish without being called to task. Sorry, but there is no defense of these 2 posts. It shows you are willing to speak without knowing the facts, thereby raising questions about the credibility of anything you have said or will say subsequently.

This is really easy. Offer credible support for the 1st assertion or retract it.

If an ex-employee has a beef with DSI, they can seek available remedies under CR law.

Its' 11:30 AM in Costa Rica, and the lawyers offices are open for business now.

My posts have very specifically targeted your propensity to make an unfounded assertion about someone you know nothing about. You admitted as much yourself.

If DSI is being accused of stiffing an employee, why would you attempt to excuse it by accusing a poster as being an illegal worker???

You spoke out of your ass, you were called on it, now you cant own up to mistake. You can attempt to divert the attention to the DSI vs. the employee argument, but I am shining the light on you.

The longer you fail to admit your error, the more it reflects on you, not me.
