Kobe has proved he can win with a good team, and he can carry an average team to nearly beating Phoenix last year in the playoffs. He is probably the best player besides Jordan of all time. And he has a chance to accomplish as much or more than Jordan if they can get him a great defender/rebounder, or if Bynum improves quickly.

Kobe is a great player, no doubt, but BB is a team sport and you do not need any player taking 50 shots or more, you are only as good as the guys around you....now if the Lakers could have kept Shaq and Kobe together, that would have been something.....that is what is missing in todays NBA....TEAM PLAY...Look how well Magic and Jordan proved it.....
