think this line is inflated too high. Minnesota is capable of covering the line, but i think it should be around -8, as opposed to 14.

Minnesota plays at Seattle on Thursday night so they may be looking ahead. GL!

very true dr t. Coming off a home win and getting to go play the defending champions with Tulsa sandwiched in the middle is definitely a spot for a letdown, just have to hope tulsa does not lay an egg (would also be nice to see minnesota struggle from the floor which they do sometimes).

My book always releases WNBA lines late so the spread is sitting at Tulsa +12.5. Do you still think it's worth a play?

i still think there is value in the line as i have the game around minnesota -8 to 9, so id suggest playing it for a little smaller than you would if it were 14 or buying up to 14, whichever is more of your style. pinnacle is normally the first book out with wnba lines, then 5 dimes/bm shortly after. If your going to be serious about betting the wnba whether on your own picks or just following others, i would see about getting some cash into 5 dimes, bookmaker, or betjam

Alright, thanks for the response kidman. My book (bodog) only offers game lines/totals and I was pretty profitable betting on halfs in the NBA so I will look into one of the books you suggested. GL on your plays today

I find that the teams update their Twitter feeds often & are a better source for info versus the actual team sites.

thanks some good info, talking to queen of hearts, vegas insider had angel listed as out 3 hours prior to tip vs ny. I just never even thought about checking right before the game started when i got off work

Still wondering where you get -8 as a fair number? Maybe I like this Minnesota team more...

dont get me wrong, i like minnesota, if you look at my wnba preview thread, i have them finishing 3rd in the west. Its just early in the season and I expect there to be some meshing time/problems before Minnesota comes around to its full potential. Plus coming off a blowout home win and having to travel to Seattle after this game, just think its a spot to disappoint
