Thanks barman, still rather pissed off at seattle being up 17 points with 3 mins left at home and not being able to cover -7.5 for me. I guess a close loss is better than getting waxed as the capping was not way off.

Hey,

In response ,

I have a solution to that injury list problem.I am pretty sure that you could get it done. I have been thinking about it for a few years now. The WNBA injury list is hard to come by especially with Edward not around.

PM coming.

hi kidman: i enjoyed your wnba thread last year, even though i only stumbled across it relatively late in the season.

glad to see that you're back for another stint, as your knowledge of this niche sport is pretty damn good.

for what it's worth, i've joined this site specifically to thank you for your efforts and to wish you continuing success.

cheers.

gyne- its a little tough to say right now as you did state that it is so early, with that being said i did do a wnba preview a few posts above on my thoughts for each team. The east is a league of parity to me, where outside of chicago, i think any team is really capable of getting hot and going on a run. washington looked a little lack luster in their first game, but their best player sat out the game coming off an injured foot. ny got a really good road win, but atlanta's best player sat out with an injury too. as of now id state it like this

1. seattle

2. phoenix

3. atlanta/ny tie

now i had rated san antonio pretty low in the west and they looked damn good vs tulsa, but tulsa made a lot of teams look good last year, so we will see what happens there. Connecticut is a very strong home team, but they struggle on the road, so if they can turn the road woes around, they could be a contender in the east. once everyone plays 5-6 games, can start to get a better feel, everything is just an educated guess or gut at this point

Tulsa +14 (Tuesday)

think this line is inflated too high. Minnesota is capable of covering the line, but i think it should be around -8, as opposed to 14.
