all we can do is wait and see

i may be changing this come derby day or maybe betting heavier according to odds before derby time, i really have feeling if lucky wins, a bomb follows in the 2nd hole

First of all in repsonse to tiznow:

I just watched her last at FG... I do get what your saying... I know that they are known for their lengthy stretch and weird turns... Devil May Care is actually sitting at 6-1 last time I looked at Vegas odds... I won't give her the time of day at that price...But being pletcher/johnny v and that big beyer she very well could get bet down to that but I don't think quite that low...

Also though those odds are kind of low.. endorsement at 8-1? No way there either too many question marks surround that one as well...

Yeah sidney looks to me like he'll like turf/plastic/slop over normal fast dirt...he seems to like to skip over the track

he has a better shot in a slop fest plus the outside hole will be nice to minimize slop in his face

honestly if slop fest might go with sidney as my 3rd horse in exotics with my two guys statly victor and american lion

also think statly will love the slop

also there are different types of slop so we'll just have to see what happens

packed down wet fast type slop...vs. sticky, deep, mucky, slow, slop.....

packed down wet fast type slop is what sidney wants and what they were running over on 4/24

on stately i just don't think the surface matters....he's got a big powerful stride with good kick that should be useful on all surfaces IMO

also read that the issue with him was a liver infection near the end of his 2yo campaign between those two dirt runs he didn't do too well in....

he's worked well on it this week and bred to like the weeds which usually equates to slop

still dont' think the guy is good enough to win the whole thing but with slop has a shot to be in the picture

ill take a look at him on video but guessing ill come to same conclusion i came to on noble that hell be stopping badly

sorry nobody feels like we do, but im with you on jackson bend and think he will be in the final picture we will have to see what happens and im keying him on top with few others like super saver and mission impazable

I like Jackson Bend in exotics but probably not to win. He's way too big of an underdog but I just don't see him winning.
