I cannot think of any poster that posted more bad experiences about Royal than myself. They were never censored and I was allowed to speak freely. Their banner was taken down, and I might have had a lot to do with that. The RX helped me out again when another book cancelled a legit wager. They came through for me fast and businesslike. I may butt heads with other members, moderators and The SHRINK, but I am also a loyal member, with this the only forum on the internet I belong to. Posters know one thing, I call it the way I see it. Ain't here to make new friends, even if that happens by accident.

I think I would be slightly offended also if I were a paid advertiser and SBR was allowed to come in here and spread misinformation, like this writeup. We all know there is a fine line between taking care of the sponsors and protecting the players. But The SHRINK is a businessman first and foremost. I would have agreed the same. If someone wants to attack a book, and they have a site, please use your own site, for the attack. If one of the members here want to bring up a situation, then that works also. I think Royal and the RX have the right to ask SBR to use their own outhouse, not the RX.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

The amended version still has the horrible misquote in it. The original quote was meant to censor only handful of insiders, who may even have a conflict of interest, not the betting public at large -- HUGE, GIGANTIC, ENORMOUS difference. If SBR claims to be HONEST and OBJECTIVE, they should not be making such horrible misquotes.

I like to be fair.. I feel like we are at the United Nations. How's this?
I am writing SBR to inform you that in our contract negotiations between TheRx.com & Royal Sports, it was included in the document that TheRx.com will not allow any negative reviews of Royal Sports from any SBR employees." Censorship starts one poster at a time, it has started here.

I wouldn't mind if I was told SBR will not post any unfounded facts on Royal. But to say we can not post truthful facts is a low blow. That is very dangerous censorship imho.

Hi, I am John, I like to pretend to be fair, and this place censors posters. Why are you here? Come to my place. I do not censor myself.

John,

After you blatently LIED about the content of the email, you have a lot of nerve suggesting that we are censoring anyone else other than yourself...

John,

This whole issue is also called..."pulling a Jazz", do you remember :

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=mainbox>6.14.2004 (1:05 AM CST) </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Jazz/ABC (SBR rating B-) is voluntarily removed from the SBR Recommended List Jazz Sportsbook is exiting the postup business to focus on its credit division. No new postup accounts will be accepted

...which was then modified in :

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=mainbox>6.14.2004 (8:05 PM CST) </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Jazz/ABC (SBR rating B-) is voluntarily removed from the SBR Recommended List No complaints yet from players. Jazz informed SBR they will not be accepting postup accounts but it is not clear if that is just from SBR players who tend to be sharp, other web sites that contain sharp players or the public at large. Players with accounts there should use caution.

...which then turned in :

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=mainbox>6.15.2004 (9:35 AM CST) </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Jazz/ABC (SBR rating B+) Jazz/ABC expresses resentment towards SBR claiming SBR recently used confidental information to confront another Costa Rican sportsbook rumored to be having problems. SBR apologizes to Jazz for the information leak.

the same post...swinged from pure bs (Jazz never exited post up biz), to "revenge" (Players with accounts there should use caution) to an apology, and original rating reinstatement.

As a reminder....this is what Jazz told you :

" The post on the SBR site was written a little out of context. We stopped taking post up deposits from the SBR site itself as an affiliate" .

Peace.

I agree, quoting with the ... to end instead of leaving in the last 3 very key words of the same sentence was clearly meant to make people believe something different was said than what actually was.

Tow,
get a life brother. Trying to push SBR down won't make you any taller. As long as you have Legendz rated above Pinnacle you will be relegated to waste your life taking shots at SBR..

Ken,
Its nice to throw your arms up and scream injustice but the real injustice is saying that we can not post truthful comments on Royal. We cant because the Rx charged the book and iNFACT contracted with the book for that silence. Thats far more scary than cutting off a quote..

SBR,

Not pushing you down honey, no need to. Was just curious about the quote, as I had the feeling you had pulled another Jazz, and I guess the feeling was right.

Let me know when you're in town.

I don't agree....the Rx has a right to kick you out all together for intentionally misrepresenting the letter the way you did.

John,

You now have my blessing to post any truthful comment about Royal that you wish...

What ROYAL was most concerned about was your twisting facts around as you did to the posters on this site...

If you promise to be a good boy and just stick with the FACTS, I assure you that this site will allow your posts to stand...

The more we get from the original quote, the better IMO. The line about one poster at a time is unfortunate, but based on all I've seen, it looks more like a jab at SBR for some private stuff than the start of some dangerous trend towards censorship. Management here knows full well that censorship is something to be avoided if they want to remain the #1 forum.

You guys really need to kiss and make up IMO because the offshore world needs both SBR and the Rx to focus on what they're good at, and not on bashing each other.

And the soap opera continues:sad3:

Again, do your "OWN" homework, and research the books you decide to invest in. Then, if the book flops, you have no one but yourself to blame.

I dont think nothing is STRONGER than getting feedback from the Prescription, when one is investigating a book. sooner or later if you decide to do your own homework you defintely will get STIFFED way before feedback from the Prescription. NOTHING is a GURANTEE, but the prescription will defintely find a leak way before I will think about finding one trying to do my own homework. nothing wrong with doing your own homework but dont IGNORE the Prescription by any means. my two cents...

Agree!

As stated many times, I always find it amusing when somebody that is aware of the RX ........says they never visit the RX, and in turn actually play offshore.

One, they are either lying(probably the case), or they are they are just stubborn and/or ignorant(probably both).

Just my three cents,

Tow,
You really wasted your time pulling up Jazz??? LOL Amazing.

You want to compete but you never will by wasting your time with these twists. You will compete by producing better content.

Look Roberto, as long as you rate BCN Sports over WWTS, which is ugly as can be, but even worse rate Legendz over Pinnacle, you have nothing but a rating-for-sale consulting business.

I am sure the fact LEGENDZ has a very strong referral and affiliate program is one of the reasons TOW has Legendz ranked over Pinnacle.

I love LENGENZ and rate them very high, but it is obvious that PINNACLE offers much more to the majority of offshore players.

Roberto,

I agree with John regarding those ratings...

BCN over WWTS and Legendz over PINNACLE is laughable and hurts your CREDIBILITY...

But as long as we are at it, why not ODU over ILLINOIS & Northen Iowa over NORTH CAROLINA? :drink:
