Gabbert will be good but he is not ready by any stretch of the imagination. He doesn't even have the whole playbook down yet. With the Peyton injury, this is a chance for the Jags to try & steal the division as they won't get to the playoffs any other way. A complete douche move waiting until now to cut him.

gabbert is not a good qb. i watched him at mizzou and any pressure on him and he wilted. maybe down the road he gets better with pressure but he is a joke when he gets pressure put on him.

I have a hard time believing that McCown gives the Jags the best chance of winning. This one will end up biting Del Rio in the ass. Garrard won't be out of work long, so little depth and a ton of garbage QB's on NFL rosters.

Those are two big names amongst plenty of failures, but both were spread QBs in college.
