I would rather see Okla St play LSU, but the bottom line is Bama is more deserving.
Bama lost to the unanimous #1 team in overtime.
Okla St lost to an average to below average ISU team as 20+ point favorites.
Seems pretty clear to me.
Going further, not that it really matters,
Bama lost that game cause they missed 2-4 FGs (I don't recall) and had a catch ruled an interception at the 1.
Okla St gave up something like a 20 point lead.

A complete sham & even more proof why this system needs to be blown up. I am boycotting the game in terms of watching it & will stick with the wager I had a friend put in for me in Vegas & the ones I will make when offshore books put it up.

This guy nails it. Who the hell did Alabama beat this year? And do you really think we'd ever see two teams from a non-SEC conference play for it all?
When Michigan lost to Ohio St in a thriller at the end of 2006, the story seemed to be no rematch at all costs because a title game just can't have one of those. Michigan "had their chance." I guess that rule still applies...except if you play in the SEC, who loves to pretend they are the be-all, end-all of college football.
If this doesn't completely disprove the "every week is a playoff" BS the BCS tries to peddle, I don't know what will.
Oklahoma State lost to a horrible team and has 2 wins over top 25 teams (none in the top 10).
Alabama lost to the best team in the country in overtime and has a win over a top 10 team and another top 25 team.
I don't see the problem...
Did you read the article? Okie St has seven wins over top 25 teams this year. Bama has three. Like the guy says, what is Alabama's impressive win in their schedule this year?
The main problem is for LSU to win the NC, they have to beat Bama twice. For Bama to win the NC, they just have to split a two-game series against LSU. Not fair to LSU, not fair to Okie St, not fair to Bama.
