Been dissapointed so many times the last few years.. not sure if it wouldn't have been better for him just to be out of it so I could avoid the inevitable catastrophe... hopefully not another fathers day ruined.. several players on this leaderboard could still win..

Holding a big ticket on Phil? You could throw a little on field -290 I suppose. I think he'll win it though.

have 20/1 on Phil.. 38/1 on Donald, and 43/1 on Day... so debating what I am going to do.. I want him to win the thing finally more then the money, but the $$ will be nice too..

I'm surprised he didn't have Bones pull out the flag before he hit it. LOL. Remember when he did that a couple years ago from about 90 yards out?

I use to root for Phil- indifferent now . He's a mental midget, can't associate with such. His play on the short par 3 is a microcosm of his career - blessed with enormous talent , should have 3-5 more majors , between the ears not strong enough . You'd think at 43 he'd mature - up one to start the day , level par wins it . He goes at the pin with a baby wedge - flies the green , bogey . You reap what u sow .

Given talent he's the biggest 'failure ' in my lifetime

If winning 42 tournaments including 4 majors, plus a US Am, and NCAA titles, and being in the Hall of Fame is a "failure", I'd take it every time..That's a pretty ignorant statement..

Lol, that's why I had failure in parenthesis. My point was his résumé should be better . Got it?

You can say that about any touring pro's resume..So is Tiger a "failure" ? You can say he should have won more.. Sam Snead? He won 82 times but never won a US Open..are they "failures" too?

Nicklaus won 18 majors AND finished second 19 times............Jack lead 8 majors after 54 holes, and went on to win all of them.

Tiger closes golf tourn when he has the 54 hole lead at a 93% rate. Jack was around 65%......nobody has ever been anywhere close to being as good as Tiger when the pressure is on

It's not 92.5% , Taylor? Got those stats down , no? Love it. He's a marvelous front runner, for my money best in my lifetime. In majors, how's his record coming from behind on Sunday? Being a HUGE fan I'm sure you have the number ? 5%? , .05? ...0%?

Thanks in advance
