The minute you discredit the black QB is the point in which most just stop reading your posts.

Why are you comparing RGIII to VY or Vick? Why not compare RGIII to A. Luck or M. Ryan?

OK, RG 42 is faster than Luck and Matt Ryan, but not nearly as intelligent as either, Luck scored 37 on Wonderlic and Griffen version 42 scored the lowest of every quarterback in last years draft class with a 24. He finished with the worst score of all quarterback's last year.
I am sure that is just a coincidence though. With intelligence comes the ability to orchestrate a complex offense as the NFL calls for. There is a reason the skins are using a gimmick offense.

Eventually, this will be as silly as comparing Manning to Ryan Leaf.

BTW, Matt Ryan had a wonderlic of 32. Sure, the wonderlic isn't everything but when I have watched RG 42 play, he seems to go to the first read, then check down alot.

The wonderlic is the official indicator of intelligence? RGIII had offers to go to Stanford.

based off of high schol scores likely givto him and also something else i will not get into right now. The wonderlic has been the NFL intelligence test forever and he finished dead last among quarterbacks.

I have made my points. Like I say, only time will tell. Maybe I am wrong, but history says I am not.

Is this a conspiracy or something?

And you have already called me a "moron" and i have a degree from a prestigious business school so obviously it can't be that hard to get.

I did love summer classes though because if there was a football or basketball player in the class, I knew it was cake. You think those coaches are going to let them have a real professor unless they can handle it? Of course not.

He mostly throws short? It's actually the exacy opposite.

He leads NFL with highest average yards per pass. He has 47 passes completed over 20 yards with only 350 attempts. So he 13th most passes over 20 yards and \the 12 guys ahead of him all have 150-200 more attempts.

This means he mostly throws long.

He has gotten alot of yards after the catch. The yards per attempt stat isn't much to go by anyway as the top 20 quarterbacks in the NFL are within a yard to a yard and a half from each other.

Matthew Stafford ranks 20th in yards per attempt, but he throws a ton down the field. Like I said, that stat is so close between 1-20, I don't put much weight into it.

The big question is how long RGIII lasts. QB's that show signs of problems in their legs normallyhave a short shelf life. If RGIII can last for 5 full seasons, he will be one of the best. I do not think he can.

Yes. that is why i added the over 20 yard throws to complement the yards per attempt.

A 3 page thread about RG3 vs Cousins?

Heck we might as well start a Lebron James vs Mario Chalmers thread while we are at it.

Anyone that thinks Cousins is better than RGIII right now is a moron. What else can be said about it? The poll pretty much sums it up.

Whether or not you believe it, it is best unsaid. If it is true you will be called a moron. If it is false you will be called a moron.

At the end of the day, it is nothing more or less than an opinion, I am basically taking ( in the books eyes) the heavy underdog and everyone is taking the heavy chalk. That is fine. I used to be alot more short tempered on this kinda stuff, but with age, comes patience I guess.

Although i would not consider myself a moron, i just laid out some simple facts from past experience with this type of hype and athlete. I admit, he has been better in his 1st year than i thought he would be but as I also laid out, others were thought of highly after their first year as well. I prefer to approach things like "olddirtyku" did.

I do though have to change the channel when Wilbon and Skip Bayless act like RG 3 (I callled him by his real name) is already a Hall of Famer.

I will add though that I live in Big 10 country and saw Cousins play quite a bit. I didn't have a choice, most big 10 games start at noon and they are the only ones on. He is better than you prob. think he is. He was at one time in mock drafts, a 1st round pick.

Just remember this, back in the day when Michael Vick was the starter in Atlanta and Matt Schaub was his back-up? If something like this was posted then, i am sure I would have been even a bigger "moron" than I am now.

Or maybe when Vince Young was the starter and Kerry Collins was the back-up, I beleive they were 12-4 or 13-3 one year with young on the bench and collins as the starter after Vince Young and his mental toughness threatended suicide.

What is RG 42 going to do when the chips are down and everyone is not patting him on the back?
