Josh Allen answered the question yesterday 🤣
"A really good team that we just played. One of the best offenses, one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and really, of all-time. The dude's an absolute stud. So to find a way to get this dub, the way it happened, I'm very proud of our guys."

Damn Allen the Sheriff will not like this but the truth hurts sometimes

Damn BDS is more widespread then I thought
It's widespread because it's true.

The Bengals with Burrow - 9-8 (last season)

The Bengals without Burrow: 4-9 (this season)

The Bengals have missed the playoffs 4/6 years with Joe Burrow as their QB.

Is he a difference maker? No.

Could he win on this year's Eagles, Rams, Patriots, Broncos etc.? Absolutely. If Jalen Hurts can win a SB surrounded by Ferraris, so can Burrow (if healthy).

Joe Burrow is a "good" QB.

Joe Burrow is NOT HOF elite.

What's the opposite of BDS? If not for the all the retarded "Year of Burrow" threads, I wouldn't even mention him. Because in the discussion of the all time greats, he's irrelevant.

The unhinged Burrow brown nosers will bring up his "elite passing numbers"

But numbers are misleading, In Burrow's case, virtually no QB in the league has receivers who make routine catches like this:

Tee Higgins had TWO TD passes like this against Buffalo. So right there off the top in just ONE game, that's at least 2 TDs - and the accompanying "elite passing yards" - subtracted without his elite WRs. Do this in enough games and pretty soon what you're left with is an average 9-8 QB. Just facts.

Much like Jalen Hurts wouldn't have a Super Bowl on a non-stacked team. And yet....and yet... if the Eagles get it together down the stretch and win again, some will call him "elite". After all, he's won TWO Super Bowls!!!!! Jalen gets it done!!!!

Laughable...it truly is.

Very very sad

Can’t call a great QB a great QB

This guy was praising Daniel Jones durability last week. Said he was as good as Burrow but more durable (lol).

Then he tears his Achilles on a non contact drop back lol

Great catches by Tee but also perfectly thrown passes by Burrow

Tee also had a few costly drops when Burrow escaped pressure and hit him right in the hands

Joe Burrow’s very average career W-L resume:

2020: 2–7–1
2021: 10–6
2022: 12–4
2023: 5–5
2024: 9–8
2025: 3–1

And that's with the two highest-paid wideouts in the entire NFL.

The rest of the time?
He's hurt… again… still… always.

"The Year of Burrow"...1.0....2.0....3.0...

I've honestly never seen a QB get this much hype while delivering so little when you look at the full picture.

What's the opposite of BDS?

I think people “hype” him because he is obviously a sensational quarterback

The “full picture” includes the fact that the Bengals genuinely have an all-time bad defense

The Bengals are 4-7 when scoring 33+ points the last 2 seasons. The rest of the NFL is 136-10-2

On top of that he’s the only AFC quarterback not named Mahomes to play in a Super Bowl recently

Jalen Hurts BEAT Mahomes in the Super Bowl. Does this make him better than Mahomes in your eyes? Or a "sensational QB", as you put it? 😂

Your logic is laugh-out-loud bad.

And please spare us the worn "blame the defense" routine - that excuse only applies recently. During the Bengals' Super Bowl run, your defense WAS elite. That's literally the only reason JoeyB even got there.

But sure… let's pretend the guy with the two highest-paid WRs in the NFL somehow gets a free pass because "the D isn’t good enough"

Okay… and?
So put up 40+ points every game.
Problem solved.

That's literally why the Bengals are dumping 45%+ of their cap on their “franchise QB” and his two superstar WRs… and why JoeyB begged them to sign and stay.

And the offense still can’t overcome a few deficiencies?

"Elite," huh? 🤡

Glass Joey's got all the tools, yet somehow year after year, he finds new ways to underwhelm. 🥱

What's the opposite of BDS? "The Year of Burrow" 🤡:ROFLMAO:

Never said Burrow is better than Mahomes because of that AFC Championship win

I’m pointing out that it’s hilarious you think Burrow hasn’t accomplished much when you vouch for quarterbacks who have objectively accomplished less — by your own logic

Now regular season QB wins is your new metric for success, you must really love Lamar Jackson

Anyone with two eyes can tell that Burrow and Allen are both great quarterbacks

Sunday was a display of phenomenal QB play sans one play by Burrow (also a great defensive play)

Their defense wasn’t elite the Super Bowl year lol .

They were tough in the red zone and were able to force turnovers during the playoff run. The ultimate “bend don’t break” defense.

Mahomes put the ball in the end zone on the first 3 drives of the AFC Championship game and almost the first 4.

Burrow without his two superstar WRs = aggressively average. Just facts - deal with it.

JoeyB knows exactly what I know:

"Please don't leave me, Ja'Marr and Tee… I cannot carry this thing alone!!" 🙏😂

Avo’s logic?
Burrow > every AFC QB because he once beat Mahomes!!
But somehow…
Hurts (who actually won a Super Bowl destroying Mahomes) < Mahomes.
Make it make sense. 😂

Avo is twisting himself into a pretzel trying to prop up his very average QB - but honestly, that pretzel is still stronger than Glass Joey's ligaments and his fragile ego.

And this is why your arguments are insane (like your world/politics takes)

Burrow has been just as good when one of them is missing. The stats have been laid out for you

But you don’t like that

BDS is a truly tough disease

Burrow shouldn’t even be playing right now yet he already looks like arguably the best QB in the league after a break lol

Burrow is a phenom. Deal with it bro
