In 5 years when Favre is long done playing football and Teddy Bear Thompson is gone from Green Bay they will welcome him back with a great big Lambeau Orgasm. Count on it! Favre is a freaking genious and the NFL is lapping him up.:cripwalk:

I guess we'll get a sneak preview Fri. nite. Won't we? IF IF IF, he'll emulate #7, and let's AD & this very good OL do its thing as John did w/TD, then we're OK. Only turn it loose when absolutely necessary! What have ALL the so called coaching legends (Parcells, Ditka, Lombardi, et all) preached for yrs? D, RO, & more D. Well we have that, and I know for myself, I'd rather put this machine in the hands of #4, rather than Jackson or Sage. Sink or swim Vike's fans here we go!!!!!

Just Want To Add One Thing

Favre said yesterday @ the Press conference "It's MY legacy", and he's right WTF right has anyone else got to tell him what to do w/his life? None of us got hit by 290" DT's and played hurt in snow & 10 degree weather and NEVER missed a game. While some of these prima donnas WR & RB, like TO can't play if they sneeze! He's EARNED the right to handle it however he wants to. The only ones who are in it w/him are the Vikes. If they think enough of him to spend the 25 mil., that's their business.

look at what he has done to the other qb's. I heard they think Tavaris jackson may not be on their opeining day roster!! Favre (love him for all he did with GB) bottom line is a selfish player. We lived and died with his selfishness but it did get us 2 SB appearances and 1 win. He will create a huge divide with teh Viqueens. Many players are extremely pissed at Childress and will choose sides.

Bottom line, as mentioned above, it is his leagcy to ruin. If he does go down against the Pack you will hear the loudest cheer BUT we all know 10-15 years form now all will be forgotten in Cheeseland and we will remember what he did for us during his 16 year run. The Pack needed to find out if Rodgers could play and it was time for him to show it. Favre, being the selfish person he is, could not accept that and would not look out for the best interest of the team.

With all this being said, I hope the Pack takes him out Oct 5th but a small part of me says he will be hurt before that game.

GO PACK GO>>>> and Arnie, why risk it?? Sell those puppies! Bird in the hand!

WTF Are You Talking About????

It was Ted Thompson that didn't want him & left him very little choice. Can you see Marino, Montana, etc. going quietly in to the night? I don't think so. And NO the vets almost to a man welcome the guy that gives them the BEST chance to get to the SB. Sage, Jackson, & ALL of the rest of the team knows who that is & it sure as hell isn't either one of tham. Do I blame them for being disapointed? NO! But life goes on! GB is just pissed because he's in the NFC NO.! Nice sportsmanship typical Cheesehead. OK. I hope Da Bears break Rodgers leg, how's that grab ya?

Typical Viqueen..I am the furthest from pissed you can get. I am actually excited.

To add some clarity in a civil manner, Ted Thompson told Favre he wanted to play Rodgers and see if he was going to work out (since he only had 1 yr left on his contract). Favre said, "no way am I playing back up or competing to start". TT said ok bye bye..In business sometimes you have to make decisions looking 2-4 years down the road even though they are unpopular or upset a performer in current time. Favre wanted to leave because of this scenario and his ego and if you say TT road him out of town, well I guess you are correct. Marino was told the same thing and what did he do??? HE RETIRED!!!

For all the awesome plays Favre made he also lost a shitload of games for us. His last pass against the Giants was a typical scene for a Packer fan but we lived and died with him. Rodgers played fairly well last year considering our defense was atrocious. We will see this year.

If you think Favre is the missing link then more power to you. We will see at the end of the year. And for the record, the majority of Packer fans are not "Pissed". He is a liar and selfish. Don't kid yourself, Viqueen fans, no matter what lip service Favre gives, his number one reason is to get back at TT..Good luck to him in that venture. Favre is a shell of what he once was and is one blindside from officially calling it a career. Get back to me when Favre needs to get a field goal in an important game and forces a bad pass that is intercepted and you lose! viqueen fans will call for his head.

I could ask America this question. When 40 million TV's are tuned in on Oct 5th and ignoring Packer or Viqueen fans who do you think America will be rooting for?? Think about the last two years before you spout off..

His ego is what got him in this position. He will do anything to get back at Thompson. Green Bay had a history of success, although the 80's, but I feel he thinks he made that town. He is the Barry Bonds of football. Dresses in his own room, did not mentor Rodgers to any degree, and is so full of himself it makes me sick. I was season ticket holder for 8 years and got tired of the drive from Milwaukee. I hope that GB ends his starting record when they meet in Lambeau. 13 years ago when my son was born he was 42k on the list for tickets.. He is still 13k away. I will NEVER forget the pick he threw in the Giant game when 3 other receivers were wide open. Gunslinger.

Being "Civil" Is OK By Me

While we're at it how about a little accuracy? After just 2 days of listening to the VETS & LEADERS, Hutch, Wade, AD, etc. of the team, they're more than happy to have his direction and command in the huddle. Will he throw picks? Of course! Didn't hear any Cheeseheads mentioning that when he took them to the SB! "Many players are extremely pissed @ Childress". True, as am I, but NOT because of this. He's the problem not #4. He knew when he came here that he had NO creds at all w/anyone on the field. Or the fans, most of us knew he was the OC @ Philly in name only. And his appearance alone didn't fill anyone w/confidence. So his "divine" intervention said "get a guy no one's ever heard of and make him a STAR, then I can get the creds I need". Enter stage left Ol Tarvaris, who BTW does have some PHYSICAL tools, as does V. Young. But due to his mental defficiencies, i.e. a moron, he'll never be a top echelon NFL QB. And certainly not the leader Favre is. So he has an ego, show me a big time star that doesn't, Marino, Montana, Jim Brown all do and that's part of what sets them aside. Manning has as big an ego of any player in the league. Don't diminish all he did for GB just because he's no longer there. Talk about "bush" Tark's comments were really that. A classic case of "sour grapes", pure jealousy! Actully feel sorry for the kid, Childress put him in a position at a position he was not ready for! It's not his fault.

I've lived in Mn. off & on all my life. Don't sit down in Fl & pretend to know about the love/hate relationship that exists between not just the Vikes & Pack, but both States as a whole. Did I hate Favre when he wore Grn & Gold? OF COURSE. But now his #4 is Purple and he's our QB. The greatest SB ever was when my all time NFL player not a Vike #7 beat Favre in the SB. No sense in getting too riled up, if GB beats us on 10/5 so be it. They win we lose. Ziggy's already a winner, 3000 season tickets in 24 hrs$$$$$$$!:):)

Ok, for the record, I lived 20 years 30 minutes just outisde of Green Bay and I attend 1 or 2 games a year being in FL. This years game will be at Soldier field. So I do know the love/hate relationship. And liking Denver?? I won't even touch that one.

Now you are kind of poo pooing the Oct 5th game..If we lose so be it?? Are you really a Viqueen fan???

I have talked to tons of cheeseheads via various vehicles and no one is "pissed" he is playing for Minnesota. The disgust is how this guy is such a liar and the drama he continues to create. Everyone is excited to line up against him. The pressure is on the Viqueens Oct 5th and definitely not on the Pack..

Everyone is annoiting the Viqueens as deep playoff contenders. As in every sport, it is a long season and you are an injury or two away from being a .500 team. Every team is the same in any sport.

Great atricle on Fox today

I am a BIG gb fan and of #4. However, as much as it disturbs me to see him in purple I think it is a business decision. Do I like it, no. He will get pummeled by the new 3-4 D that GB has. He will throw another 20 picks because of his gun slinging. The pick in the Giant game 2 years ago was unbearable when 3 other receivers were wide open. Let the Vikes have their fun with him. Rodgers will be just fine.
