Thanks Defying. The good part is she got an academic scholarship so it will cost me a whopping $442.00 a semester! I'm about to go out and buy a 2011 BMW m3, $85,000.00 sticker price so I'm a bit gun shy on pulling the trigger......
i work for verizon. droid...superior product. for complete ins coverage of the iphone is 10.99 a month plus tax and iits a $200 detuctable. next, if u do get an iphone (dont) the 5 WILL be out 4th quarter of tthiss year. got te news from corrporate 2 days ago. iif u want 4g droid, thunderbolt is best but batt. lifee is poopoo. lg revolution is my next favorite. if 3g is good enough get the incredible 2.
BAS-of all the droids i checked out i did like the Thunderbolt the best. 36+hrs is a heck of alot of battery life......do you surf the web much on it?
im giving my son the incredible... taking an upgrade and getting thunderbolt... hopefully ill have my new rolex leather band at bash to wear with it
thanks for keeping me updated on if you can get ithno:hno:
The Thunderbolt is Too much Machine for you .... puff_>>
as far as Your Rolex, still working on it..... Might have to work Slower if you are going to Copy Me
I own both, one for personal and the other for business. Other than incoming calls I rarely use the droid. Ive had the various versions of the iPhone for over 3 years now. I haven't ever had to service any one of the iPhones. I have had my droid for less than a year, yet it has been serviced 3 times now. In my personal experience the iPhone is a superior product. As long as a iPhone is available I will own one.
Got my Thunderbolt three weeks ago and Love it. They have found ways to get More battery life out of the Thunderbolt.
Calibrate battery..... is one Main thing, which Now gives me about 36+ hours
Turning off the 4G also saves Battery life. GPS turn off....saves ...Keyboard vibration, if you don't need it, turn it off. Check Apps, because they are still running...etc.
There's a Long list to do that saves battery life.
Also.......... If you get a Thunderbolt, buy it over the Phone or in the store
I like using the phone, as I had this Big to do with verizon ( have a thread here somewhere )
But after I asked about the Battery life on this phone, They gave me a extended batteryfor FREE. ( $49.99 savings )
Also remember, the Thunderbolt is the Only Phone ( for now ) that you can Talk and Surf the Web.
So basically what you are saying is if you leave the phone off and dont use it you wont have to charge it every 2 hours.
Whats the point of having 4g if you are going to turn it off?
Whats the point of having a GPS if you are going to turn it off?
I also dont know where you got the idea that the TB is the only phone you can talk and surf the web at the same time.
The Iphone does this. I do it everyday.
Another problem that has not been discussed is that the iphone is mac based..... no spy ware, no virus, no malware. The other phones are PC based. I don't have to tell you guys the problems there.... I bet in about a year all these tablet and phone rivals of Apple will be so bogged down with spy ware, viruses, and malware that they wont even work....Mark my words........
