If the Cubs had absolutly everyone healthly and I mean everyone. Wood, Prior, Garciaparra etc. And if Dempster can keep doing what hes doing. The Cubs have the makings for the best team in baseball. It does not get any better than.

Prior
Wood
Zambrono
Maddox
Rush

They also have a nice offense if Parra were healthy. I think Cory Patterson is really close to breaking out as being one of the top 20 players in the game. Derrick Lee top MVP canidate.
I know it sounds funny right now, but dont count the Cubs out come October if everyone can get healthy and on the same page.

Is this the first'If the Cubs have everybody healthy' sighting in the last hour? Nobody ever has everybody healthy.

Its nice to have something constant in an ever changing universe: Cubs lose and Cubs' fans make excuses. LOL

Im a Braves fan. He asked me a question. I gave him an answer. The last I checked the World Series was in October. All the ifs above can be corrected by October. I think they can stay close enough to a wild card till the above things take place. I could not care less if the Cubs win or not. As a matter of fact. Im pretty pissed at the Cubs this season. They have cost me alot of money this year.

I'll take the Phillies in the National League and the Twins in the American League.

Philadelphia vs Minnesota in the World Series...what could be worse for a pro sports championship? How about Spurs vs Pistons.

Neifi Perez has put Nomar numbers.

I'll go with Anaheim and St Louis.

Cardinals because their path to the playoffs seems to be the easiest of any team in baseball.
