JCCAPITALS group which are these books is very bad news for players. They are very active right now and you do not want to go near them. There may be others underneath this group so be very careful. With football season so close they are going all out with their e-mail spam so be very aware of these people. Every time they catch scammers one thing they all admit is greed is what makes their job easy. People lose more money to rip offs due to being greedy than anything else I would bet. Nothing is 100% foolproof but stick to the established books who have made a name for themselves and not just any book that comes along with a nice bonus. If you have not heard of them or know little about them there is usually a good reason behind it. The extra $$$$ sounds good but if they stiff you on the whole amount what did it really gain you? Voodoo who has taken some effort in staying on top of these guys calls them "deposit only" books, LOL. They will gladly take your money but good luck getting it back. Absolutely no reason to gamble on which book you use, we do enough gambling trying to pick a winner wthout worrying about getting our money. Stick to our advertisers guys and other solid books. If you are unsure about a book ASK before you send your money, not after. We also have a whole list of books that operate off-shore right at your fingertips, it provides what we know about them and feedback from players on their experiences playing there.

General takes a lot of time and effort keeping this updated so please use it. Posters have done well to find this site so use all tools you can to avoid getting stiffed off-shore. Most people don't worry about it until it happens to them once and then it is too late. If anyone has any JCCapitals additions to this list please feel free to add them here. I will post this in the football threads as well to get to as many readers as we can. Good luck this year men!

From first glance, I dealt with atleast one of these books if not two. I actualy went with them because of the 900 pay option.

I then started noticing some of the books being quite familiar etc so I asked about doing book to book transfers & with each one, I was able to transfer my money to Casino Bookie where I played the horses & got payed.

Whew, glad you got away Dave. They have every way you can to get money to them, 900Pay, credit cards (VISA or MC), checks, Firepay, PPATM, GPX, Western Union etc.... The problem is getting your money back usually. Glad you didn't get burned.

It bothers me that Neteller does business with this group too. We need to squeeze these people not make it easier for us to get our money to them.

I used Celebrity for Baskets thru the tourney last year. They had a lot of opinionated lines, which I guess is easy to do if you don't plan on paying winners. I had my last wihdrawl in January, everything after that was a scalp, although I did hear of slow pay/np pay from them a few months ago, not sure now.
Best of luck to all.

SHRINK MAY BE FORCED TO DROP TWO BOMBSHELLS ON TWO BAD BOOKS THIS WEEK!

Despite his and other Rx insiders friendships with one of the books, doing the right thing, is the right thing.

Both books are based in Costa Rica, both are beseiged with massive debt and little cash on hand, and advertise on the RX.

No more comments or hints from me on this subject.

Is BoDog in Costa Rica?

can bank on them having massive debt.

Still hard to believe anyone's going out before FB, with the world inundated with cheap money available.

SP - doubt very seriousy it is BoDog. I am told they have some deep pockets behind them right now for what it's worth. Of course I have been wrong before.

Joey - are you home? If so I'd like to give you a call. I have no idea who you are talking about. I thought you were going away is why I am asking. Thanks.

Here's what I know as of now, I caught Ken before he left for the airport and we talked briefly on this. There are some things circulating about a couple of books which if true is not good. At this point Shrink is trying to get to the bottom of it all before he makes a final decision on this. If the information on either one or both of the books is true the situation will be dealt with in the same manner as Royal was. Depends on the severity of it all. These cases are much different from Royal though as that information was widely known and easy to verify, from what I know big parts of this one is still mostly at the hearsay stage.

I know it's easy to say and hard to do but try and remain patient the next couple of days while this whole thing unravels. At this point I do not think anyone is in any immediate danger with football season cranking up so please be patient and give Shrink a few days to find out what he can find out. Thanks guys and you will hear from him the first of the week on this.

Skybook Sportsbook, International Island, and Rio International are all under the Rio International Group umbrella, and are all in perfect financial standing.

Anyone having any questions whatsoever as to our company's current condition is welcomed to contact The Shrink of TheRX.com, Don Best, or to call me directly at 1-800-809-3246 x2304. Ask for Mike of Internet Business Development when calling.

Since there are two threads going on concurrently about the same topic, I have copied and pasted my response here as well...

Joey,

Thanks for dropping this potential bomb scare as I am headed out for the weekend...

Just as I did with ROYAL, if the time comes when I know in my heart that I cannot send a sports book MY money, you guys will be presented with all of the facts.

At this time, I can say that the only evidence I have gathered is through second and third hand sources.

After I speak with these sports books directly and confront them with what I was told, I will gladly share my findings with everyone who values this site...

Afterall, that is my job...

Finally, I don't believe it will take me any longer than by Monday to accomplish this...

P.S.

RIO is NOT one of the books Joey is talking about because I was the one who shared my dilemma with JOEY last night...

RIO IS NOT ONE OF THE BOOKS I'M TALKING ABOUT.

RIO HAS the MONEY to pay it's obligations.

I just want to throw my 2 cents in here, Rio is very solid, as already stated.

The possible two books (umbrellas) are NOT Rio.

I just love it when these witch hunts start and good books end up getting pelted with rocks

back to JCCAPITALS, they owe me about 5k, i tried to cash out in january, but since they had to 'switch banks*' they have had me on a payment plan of $250 a month since then...of course now phones/emails/and live support are all dead so good luck if you are owed anything here.

*insert any other million lying excuses.
