Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz hinted this week that he would jump in the 2024 presidential race, but likely only if former President Donald Trump decided not to run.
While speaking with NBC News for a profile that came out about his presidential ambitions, Cruz admitted he’s long aspired to become the president, but made it clear he wouldn’t run against Trump if the former president.

As we all found out in the 2020 Election, the fact that many more people attended Trump's rallies than Bien's
because they were more enthusiastic had ZERO effect on who actually won, the same will be true moving forward.
In this case, while Trump's popularity and the amount of enthusiasm he engenders at the moment seems to be high, it must
be remembered that the folks expressing this is relatively small compared to the entire population, which already frowns on
Trump overall, and a condition which will only get worse with what comes out from the January 6th Investigation and the other
legal matters facing him.
He won the 2016 Election only because he carried a few key states.
He lost the Popular Vote to Hillary and got crushed by Biden by over seven million Popular Votes!!!
If in the rare chance I am wrong and Trump does get the nomination, he will lose by even more popular votes no matter who
runs for the Democrats.
My god right now as big a mess as the country is in right now, the polling data clearly shows that if Trump faced Biden tomorrow,
he would lose, and this ie BEFORE his role in January 6th has been determined as well as the other legal matters.
If folks want to live in their world of fantasy that if he chooses to run, that none of what I cited above matters, and that
he will win, well all I can say is good luck because it isn't happening!!!
