Should be numb by now, can't feel the pain no more

Nothing for them to cry about today, unlike the last two years

unfamiliar with the new rule and review - does the receiver need to use a weapon?

If Teddy Bridgewater was the QB they win by at least 10. Brees wasn't good, especially on 3rd down and you can say he likely single handily cost them the game with that DUMB fumble. Saints had no business losing today.

But more than anything the coaching staff failed, they handled the game poorly and looked like amateurs. Sean Payton, airballed...again!

Brees also threw a pick in OT vs the Rams in the championship game last year

What would people be saying if the GOAT did that?

Maybe NOLA can trade for Jimmy G

Disagree. The refs had a huge role again. That Bullshit blind side personal foul, cost the Saints 38 yards! It negated a 23 yard return. Instead of first down on Minny's 43 it was first down on NO's 19! Game was 13-10 Saints D just pitched a 3 and out. No call game is tied maybe Saints take a 17-13 lead. Changed momentum of the game. Also Minny should have been up 23-20, not winning the game in OT. Db's head jerks back on a fully extended stiff arm, should be called OPI. Lutz needs to hit a 43 yard field goal indoors. This is what caused the Saints to lose. Brees did fuck up on the fumble, but he still had a good game. Lutz's fuck up was bigger. It's his only job and you need to hit a 43 yarder indoors.

They also fucked up the Bills with another BS "blind side" block! They may have kicked a winning field goal in OT. Saints call was worse in that the Viking player actually braced himself for the block, which makes the notion of a "blindside" an oxymoron. This is why I've been watching more golf than football lately. Can't stand these idiots deciding the outcome of games!

Good eye.

That's b/c it's rigged.

But according to some people.... even after watching this..... the NFL is the most upright, legit sport ever. Lolz.

Sean Payton did not give the Saints any chance to win!!!!! HE NEVER HAS

Just like the last two years....................

Stop looking at one call or play look at the whole game picture and how it evolved DUE TO HIS COACHING ERRORS >>>>> this is why they were defeated each time~~~

Wake up Saint fans !!!!

Remember when the Saints lost to the 7-9 Seahawks in the playoffs? That's Payton, Paytoning. He's trash, fuck him.

Gotta stop making excuses for him.

The idea that Sean Payton is some elite coach is just laughable. He's 8-7 in the playoffs and thinks he's much more clever than he actually is.

Can't blame Kamara, when only given 7 attempts to rush the ball. If he's their workhorse, then you blame that on play calling.

Cook had 28 attempts. He only averaged 3.4 yards per carry. Kamara averaged 3 with his meager 7 carries.

It doesn't matter how many times Brees fumbled during the season, it's when it happened that is the key. After that nice run by Hill they should've went right back to a running play and pounded them again.

Don't blame Lutz, it wasn't on him they lost. He made the FG when it mattered. They had a whole second half to atone for that miss at the end of the half.

The real key is that they didn't use their timeout to avoid the 10 second run off. Instead of having one play before having to try the FG, they could've had 2 maybe 3 using the sidelines. Even if they did get a play in the middle, they had time to spike it and get the fg team out there.

Fast forward to OT, everyone knew where that third down play was going. The DB had the benefit of the end line on both sides as defender and had his back to the play the whole time. Turn around, see the ball, knock it down and force a FG.

There's lots of blame to pass around on the Saints and it's not all on the Payton or Brees, it's a full team collective.

One last thing, the TD didn't have PI involved at all, anyone that watched games during the year never saw that called and if you did, it wasn't consistent. No excuses, teams get beat, that's why they play the game on the field instead of just paper.

The NFL will always call that now, even after the play. It’s a big safety issue and as dangerous as helmet to helmet.
