Let me help you out Miamiboy....Call your credit card company and dispute all the charges from the sportsbooks, prepaid cards, etc. I know someone that did this and they credited all the money back to his card. He claimed he didn't know how those charges got there. He showed me the credits on his credit card statement. I know you have to fax your DL and proof of address to these sportsbooks but that didn't matter. They didn't even try to dispute the claims.....Crazy!!! The sportsbooks tried calling him but he never answered their calls. Of course he can't wager online anymore but he doesn't care because he got out of that debt. It was over $10K. Good luck! I can't say I agree with what he did but it worked for him....

In the future my advice is to try to find another local (that pays) and only wager what you can pay at the end of every week.

I hope people that do stuff like this have bad karma following them around. When stuff like this happens, you have to be a man and pay your debts.

the problem with that is, the credit card company would call to verify that it was indeed me making those charges, and they were crazy-looking to say the least, so I don't think this would work...although if it did work for your friend, it is definitely worth a shot.....

Quit and dont look back. I was there 20 years ago and if I just quit and put losses into an interest bearing account I would have about 90k sitting around. It is fun though. Now that I think of it I wish I had that money right now to try and double up on the overs/cubs coming up. jk. Quit, find something else that gives you the same rush. Miami if it makes you feel even a little bit better I was also on Detroit and Seattle yesterday...not to mention on the Angels RL and they proceeded to blow a 10-4 Lead late in the game...its part of the game...even though it seems My teams blow far more leads than I have comebacks..its funny how that works

Money management ruins baseball bettors. Games can turn so quickly, and long winning and losing streaks are common. Not a sport for those that have the tendency to go on tilt. My opinion - get some of your debt paid off, come back for football if you can, but leave baseball alone until you are able to deal with the up and down swings and the multiple "bad beats" and "close calls". Probably college hoops as well is better left to the more patient.
