Texas. Paerie View was founded in 1876, and is the second oldest public institution in
the state.

Just to think that dominant SEC schools like LSU only have 3 and Ole Miss only have 2.

Moving on to MOREHOUSE COLLEGE located in Atlanta, Georgia. Morehouse is a private,
historically black college that is one of the few remaining traditional men's liberal arts schools.
In April 2019, Morehouse announced that they will begin admitting transgender men for the
first time in the year 2010.

Morehouse will open its football season against Alabama A&M September 1, in Canton, Ohio.
No white players are represented on the Morehouse football squad. The Maroon Tigers are a
member of the SIAC conference.

Be sure to mark the dates of October 25-27 for Morehouse homecoming weekend. Tickets
are going fast for the game so it would be wise to get your tickets early.

Carolina. North Carolina A&T is the largest historically black university located in the
U.S. with a little over 12,000 students. Blacks make up 78 percent of enrollment with
whites accounting for 4 percent. The football team will open the season August 31st
against mighty Elon. This season will mark the 94th for the school.

Looking at Historically White University News: The DUKE BLUE DEVILS will face
eleven teams this season that appeared in a bowl game last season. Making
matters worse, the first is against ALABAMA who played for the national title.
I note that Alabama is 12-0 straight up and 10-1 against the spread playing the
first game under Nick Saban. Get the hint? Give the 33 and collect your money
after the game.

The TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN TIGERS opens the 2019 season on September 7 in front
of an anticipated sellout crowd in Montgomery, Alabama, against rival Alabama State. Last year
fans witnessed an overtime thriller inside ASU stadium for only the third meeting since 2012.
The 4 p.m. kickoff has the projected field temperature at 109 degrees. To combat the heat, both
teams have agreed not to ware jock straps. The thinking by team doctors is being free and louse
down there will help combat the heat. Tickets for the game are at a premium...get yours now.

Historically White University News:

("Play on LOWER RANKED teams that are favored over HIGHER RANKED teams.") This is a system
that has been around a lot of years and has served bettors well. When you look at the preseason
polls, you see that OREGON is rated higher than AUBURN yet Auburn is favored. I like Auburn -3.
The Tigers' defense will be the difference. Good luck with your play.

BOWIE STATE UNIVERSITY is part of the University System of Maryland. Founded in 1865,
the school is Maryland's oldest historically black university and one of the ten oldest in the
entire country. Bowie State's football season starts September 7 against American Inter-
national College. The big game of the season is Week 3 against Alderson Broadies University.
This is the game I will be attending and recommend you make arrangements to see it first
hand also. The spirit and pageantry for this game is like no other. You have to see it to be-
lieve it. Better than Auburn/Alabama, Ohio State/Michigan...you just have to see one game
between these schools and you will be hooked forever. A real slobberknocker!

Historically White University News:

APPALACHIAN STATE UNIVERSITY has won 35 of their last 39 Sun Belt Conference games.
New coach Eliah Drinkwitz inherits a team top heavy with experience especially on offense
where ten starters return. The Mountaineers have put together 11-2, 10-3, 9-4 and 11-2
seasons the past four years. The opener against East Tennessee State will begin another
big season for the App State boys. Watch out for the Mountaineers this year.

The Oregon Ducks biggest question mark going into the season was the wide
receiver corp. Now, two time first team Pac 12 special teams player and WR
Brenden Schooler is out up to six weeks because of an injured foot. Oregon's
unproven and inexperienced receivers took a big hit losing Schooler who was
a projected starter. It's one thing to have a really good, experienced quarter-
back...it's another entering the first game with questionable receivers.

Coach Bronco Mendenhall had done a nice job of rebuilding the VIRGINIA CAVALIERS as
he enters his 4th season. His teams have improved each season (2-10, 6-7, 8-5) and
should continue the success this year. With a gritty defense that doesn't have many holes
to fill, the Cavaliers have a chance to make a run at the Coastal Division title. The defense
returns seven starters from a top 20 defense that gave up just 20 points per game last year.
Building off a 28-0 thumping of South Carolina in the Belk Bowl, Virginia has the confidence
to be a player in the ACC this year. Beware of the Cavaliers!

The MID-EASTERN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (MEAC) will have 44 football games broadcast
digitally on ESPN family networks. The MEAC-ESPN agreement continues to add additional
exposure to the conference which has collaborated with ESPN since 2005. I can't wait to
watch me some MEAC football.

Historically White University News:

PENN STATE witnessed a mass exodus of underclassmen to the NFL Draft and as a result,
the Nittany Lions rank near the bottom in returning starter production. PSU will have to
lean heavily on defense as new members of the offense get acclimated. It all begins in the
backfield with the quarterback and tailback positions, where there are huge voids to fill.
The good news for Penn State is the schedule provides opportunity for the team to mature
before facing a tough conference schedule featuring road games against Iowa, Michigan
State and Ohio State. The first five games are home against Idaho, Buffalo, Pitt, Purdue
and a road game at Maryland. Franklin and staff have their work cut out for them, especially
on offense.

Historically Black College News:

The Pelican Bowl (1972-75) and Heritage Bowl (1991-99) were intended as black national
championship games matching champions of the MEAC and SWAC conferences. Neither
bowl game was a success because of a lack of interest from the historically black schools.

Historically White University News:

Michigan State had a disappointing 2018 winning just seven games. Worth noting, with
Mark Dantonio as coach, in seasons after winning seven or fewer games the previous year,
his teams have gone 9-4, 11-2, 13-1 and 10-3. Even better, his teams went 29-5 straight
up and 21-13 against the spread in conference (Big Ten) play. Michigan State has 16 re-
turning starters including 37 of 44 players back from last year's two deep. All the talk is
about Michigan and Ohio State in the Big Ten, but Michigan State may prove to be the best
friend of a wagering man.

Historically Black College News:

At last year's SWAC Championship Game between SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY and ALCORN
STATE, the big question was which band won the halftime contest. There was no score
to determine the winner but there was a poll for those at the game. Seventy-seven per-
cent voted for Alcorn State while twenty-three percent like Southern's performance. I
personally enjoyed both...lots of shake and bake by both bands. Who won the football
game....I forget.

Historically White University News:

Will the UTAH UTES make another run at the Pac-12 championship this season? Many
around the country think they will. With fifteen starters returning from a team that won
the South Division last year, the talent is in place for another run. Quarterback Tyler
Huntley returns healthy after injury problems last year and he will be joined by five of
his top 5 receivers. The defense returns seven starters including three of the top four
defensive linemen who led the conference in rushing defense a year ago. There are some
holes on the offensive line that need attention, but overall, the Utes look to be ready to
make a run for the Pac crown.

Note for wagering man: Utah is 13-2 against the spread as a Road Dog the past 5 years.
