Are you religious? Cause this is the same logic they use.
I don't know what I am anymore to be honest.
I believe things evolve after long periods of time, but that doesn't mean something or someone couldn't have put us here.
I don't believe in evolution to the extent we started out as a molecule, then thousands years later grew a mouth, then thousands of years later grew an eye, then thousands of years grew an ear, legs, feet, a liver, an ass, a perfect reproduction system, and so on. Is it possible? Yes. But it's also so far-fetched that we could have had some help.
One religious scientist put it best......... Saying a big bang, or some other hard to imagine event created life, is the equivelant to saying a Tornado makes it's way through an airport junkyard, and when it exits, all of the pieces of planes are assembled back together perfectly, and not just that, so that they are running again. Impossible of course.
Kind of an off the wall comparison but we get his point.
I have mixed opinions on everything, but that really has nothing to do with idiotic scientists who think they know what happened hundreds of thousands, or millions of years ago.
I understand what you are saying, it's theories.
But, they usually state is as finding "New evidence on how life began"
That's not just opinion, they really believe in their findings and try to convince everyone else.
They change their mind every few years on so many things, yet, they are so sure what happened in the very beginning of life? A lot of their findings make sense of course, but they also believe in their beliefs so much they try to push them off on everyone else.....
