No way MO

Tennessee is an average team. Plain and simple. Patriots did what they were suppose to do. Overreact if you like. Patriots in the AFC championship is like Lebron in the finals. It's a common occurrence.

Was wondering the same thing Willie and the conclusion I came to after reading some poster’s reasoning for betting Titans is they are shitty cappers.

Every team left can beat the patriots imho

Where do they come up with this stuff. Minnesota at home for the Super Bowl with that D can definitely best pats. PITT is the best team in the nfl in my mind and looking for revenge and damn Philly has a great run D expect them to compete also. Foles was a playoff caliber QB it was looking like before his injury. He can compete.

And to add to my previous post about shitty capping in betting against pats, the comment is meant specifically about trying to win betting against Ne. I’m sure many guys who keep losing betting against pats are great overall cappers.

Vikes were already an auto bet at beginning of week for me. Got in early mon at cris with great numbers and just got a bit more at -5.5-105 at heritage. Won’t lay >2 to 1 ml, so no more added to that play.

Good luck tmrw

then why the fuck are you not betting this gravy train every week?

if you believe the refs favor NE, then you should be betting the Patriots every week, and if you're betting against them every week and then blaming the refs, well I think that's pretty fucking stupid

just saying, and meant in the most respectful way possible

face)(*^%

I said to myself after the Miami lose, I will only bet them for the rest of the way. I never did once and they are 7-0 ATS L7. I never do what I want to do

I'll tell you, after reading Trend's thread (and being a Derrick Henry owner in FF) I was all onboard the Titans train to take those points. Then I talked to my buddy (who talked me out of taking the Falcons yesterday) and after a short discussion I came to my senses and realized I didn't want to bet against Brady.

I teased NE with the OVER but also grabbed a whole bunch of NE -9.5 and -7.5 while they were down 7-0 in the first quarter.

I was shooting my mouth off about it being rigged but that’s dumb. I don’t see black helicopters and don’t think games are rigged. I was just mad because much like the NCAA championship game, it seemed every important call went against tenn. I get mad at reffing. But I don’t think they have a direction, sometimes I think it just becomes one sided and can snuff out any chance one team may have had. That being said, you’re right, Pats way better and didn’t need help. Still hate to see it. I do believe heavily in momentum in sports and those calls turned any momentum. But if tenn was deserving, they would have overcome it. Malarkey took forever to adjust. He reminds me of fisher or these other old school coaches that don’t, can’t, or won’t adapt. In my stupid opinion, they should have cut mariota loose ala Deshaun Watson. His “colllege style” antics gave the pats fits. Early in the year, Reid and kc also opened the playbook. Anyway...

BOL to you as well, looks like at least one of us is going to win one game :)

I'm probably playing the Saints, I just think Drew Brees won't lose this game and that's not disrespecting Minnesota

Patriots current run SU and ATS

4-0
10-1

of those 10 wins, only two were one score games

Pitt by three
LAC by eight

I hope they're giving < 7 next week so I can pound them

Although I have $ 500 to win $ 900 riding on an AFC Championship, so I just need them to win (but I'm fucking greedy :))

I was thinking last night, when everyone was bitching about flags and all the calls the Pats were getting... MAYBE the Patriots are simply better-coached, more prepared, and thus receive way less flags against them.

There was a quick blurb in the game where I think Romo mentioned... if you're on Bellicheks team and there is a personal foul like taunting/latehit etc.. he said "If you're a patriot, it better not be on you -- don't react -- don't be the guy who draws a personal foul."

That team is disciplined and believes in their coach and his system.

I'm not a Pats fan by any stretch, I bleed Bears orange & blue -- but I don't mind their success ... They don't annoy me the the Cowboys teams of the 90s did. It's a delight to watch the best QB to ever play the game still dominate this late in his career.

and when he said that, there was a Titan player pushing and shoving and throwing a punch (or push) towards the helmet and the Pats player just held his two hands up and walked away. 15 yard penalty on TN, as in not offsetting

Usually the other player pushes back and it becomes offsetting penalties

On a sidebar, never understood why players throw punches at the heads of players wearing helmets, seems stupid to me. Maybe a throat punch, or a body blow, not sure I would risk breaking my hand

What Gronk did against Buffalo was an exception and he lost his composure. Belichick called it a horseshit move and Gronk paid a price with a fine and a suspension

Titans had a miniscule pathway to victory last night and the refs removed it early with two horrendous calls (ridiculous offensive PI and offsides on punt) that ended one Titans drive and extended one for NE -- boom they are down 21-7, forced to throw, and victory was impossible (even Romo said at one point in the 2nd qtr that the game would be tied if it werent for the bad calls). Tenn lost their tackle and Mariota got hurt, which likely killed their chances anyway, but my point is that the refs controlled this game from the start and it was quite obvious - not saying it was fixed, but if you think a brand doesn't try to control its most valuable assets to the extent it can then you haven't followed business for long...

The PI was a horrible call, and that happens to Gronk more than anyone else

The offsides is more debatable, it can certainly be argued that was the correct call and it was a stupid play by the one Titan who clearly jumped then acted guilty (not saying it was clearly the correct call, but he clearly jumped and it was close)

The Patriots still had to drive 85 yards after the offsides call, and the Titans were still 70 yards from the endzone after the PI call

If that's all it takes to turn that game into total domination, well that's pretty lame. Not sure why Tony or anyone would argue the Titans would move the ball and score when they haven't moved the ball since one drive in the first quarter

I do have empathy for losing a key linemen, but that just happens each and every week in the NFL. It's supposed to be next man up.

The Titans were supposed to be more physical, obviously they failed miserably at that on both sides of the ball

If you think the Titans margin for victory is "minuscule" , I'm going to suggest you look the other way

And if you think the Titans margin for victory is "minuscule" and the NFL "fixes games" for the Patriots and you still bet the Titans, then you better STOP GAMBLING. You will have made a horrible decision based on your very own thinking

Man, I can't believe this thread. What a bunch of Pussies, you guys are like school girls. You bet the situation, not worrying about the Refs. The titans cover that game if the game is called fair. Three calls changed that game. Why can't anybody explain why they were called. If this happens in High school football the refs would be fired and have to run and hide. But when it happens in the NATIONAL FIXED LEAGUE where okay with it. Not only that, but I wake up and see people saying I sorry for complaining about the pats and bet more on todays games. Fuck the NFL, I am done. Willie you should feel ashamed for being a fan of that disgusting organization .

Willie, Mariota was done in the late first quarter, bad quad, he could not roll out, scramble or avoid the rush. Game over, that was their entire hope to make it a game. Roll out, hit short passes, run for 1st downs. Mariotta is not good when he is restricted to pocket passing and straight hand offs to Henry.
AND there were 5-6 ridiculous early calls against the Titans when it counted, penalties ALWAYS stopped Titan drives, extended NE drives) that completely changed the game in the first half. Even announcer shill Romo openly discussed it. Gronk pushed off a lot, never called, but Decker's was called, for example.
You are a good capper but come on, if they played again and Mariota was not hurt + 14 is a good move, even against the ??? calls.

willie-the result of the game wouldnt have changed i dont think but for those on the titans i can see how it would piss me off. down 7 you stop the pats and are about to get the ball at right around midfield. i can agree that the call could have gone either way but they changed the call a good while after the initial call which you never see. the PI on Decker was another play which just kills a drive. I agree the patriots still win the game but i think the titans could have covered. then again ya never know if the patriots play it differently if the game is closer. they clearly were dominant. but on that td drive after the offsides call they got 3 first downs from penalty, thats just rough for a playoff game. the calls were one sided, but so was the game. titans werent the better team and got whipped around but its tough when ya gotta playu the stripes too

It's the first I heard Mariota was injured, that would obviously be a game changer, but he hasn't been 100% coming into the game either

Mariota was back to 100% coming into that game, look at their 95 yd drive! Then things changed, even Romo noticed that something was wrong and mentioned it before halftime, said Mariota was grabbing his hamstring. I am sure he was told to STFU. I was worried as hell with + 14, you could see Mariota gave up in the early 2nd half I honestly figured something was way off, he did not roll out, scramble, avoid the rush.

    Cameron WolfeESPN Staff Writer
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Quarterback Marcus Mariota's mobility was limited for much of the Tennessee Titans' 35-14 playoff loss to the New England Patriots on Saturday because of a strained quad.
Mariota suffered the injury on a first-quarter run, according to Titans coach Mike Mularkey."It had an impact, obviously," Mularkey said. "We had to get out of some of our scheme we had with him, some of our zone scheme."Mularkey said Mariota's injury prevented him from scrambling away from the New England rush. The Patriots sacked him four times in the third quarter -- including back-to-back plays that left Tennessee with a third-and-31 from their own 2 -- and three more in the fourth.

You complain about the refs and the Patriots every week, you choose to bet against the Patriots when you think it's fixed for them, and then you call me a pussy

If you think the NFL is fixed, why don't you go with the fix? That's what this thread is all about.

If I think the dice are loaded, I'm not going to bet against the fucking 7 coming out
