If Jordan and Lebron played 1-on-1 10 times, Lebron wins all 10

i don't know....i think lebron is a MUCH better ball handler than MJ was....i have faint memories of him dribbling it and chasing it a few feet after inconsistent dribbles.....

i could be wrong but i think lebron is faster AND a better ball handler....i think jordan is the one that gets his pocket picked more

I used to work in an Italian barber shop/salon in boca raton,,, and we got on the discussion of who would win in a fight, mike tyson or ALi ,, now I said Tyson of course,, lol, you would of thought I pizzed on the italian flag?? lol,,, the Old barbers in there tore me a enw one,, lol,, but fundamentally Ali without a doubt is the sickest all around Heavy weight fighter of all time,,, lol, but Power?? Tyson would have him out in the first round,, the point with this story,, is similar I think, we all love to compare ERAs, who was stronger/Faster,, and the honest to god truth as I have lived through MJ and Lebron,,, MJ is sooooooo much faster than Lebron,, LJ is a bit larger, No way in hell faster,,, MJ gets 6 wins,, LJ 4,,, MJs will to win and speed would crush him,,
tater

They thought this about Forman too. The guy had Sick power.... we all know what happened there.

Nike has done a great job of making mj a godly type figure.
If they were both 18 and in the nba draft I would take lj without a doubt.
MJ made his self a godly figure.

You see what happened with everyone else they tried to make the next Jordan.

MJ made his own legend on the court.

It was MJ that made Nike so big.

The only advantage Lebron has is strength and my post up game is better than Lebrons - reality is Jordan had the best post up game of all time for a guard and could post James up all day let alone Jordan was kinda ok at getting to the rim and has Lebron ever done anything under pressure? oh yeah that hail mary jacked 3 in Cleveland

lol would there be pressure in a backyard 1 on 1 game in a hypothetical universe?

Also your postup game isn't as good as LeBron's. LeBron's postup game has grown leaps and bounds in the last year.

I really don't care who would win in a game of 1 on 1 between these guys though....

Jordan seems a little upset about about the rise in Lebrons status to Jordanlike by saying Kobe is ahead of Lebron because of his 5 to 1 rings. What a silly statement.

Yogi Berra has more rings than anyone & though a Hall of Famer is not even one of the top 20 players of all time. His backup from 49-53 Charlie Silvera has 5 rings & the greatest baseball player of the last 70 years has zero.

I'd pick Lebron over Jordan by a mile!

Although rings in the nba is more important then any other sport I get tired of hearing about the ring thing. Just getting Cleveland to the finals was one of the greatest miracles in sports history

LBJ needs a lot of help MJ not so much :103631605

Right he did not have much help. Only 60% of chicago's starting lineup made the Hall of Fame

You youngins don't know the difference between shit and shinola. You have no clue.

Michael Jordan would beat Lebron James any where on a basketball court.

People just really don't understand how great a basketball player was/is.

The man was playing on a much higher level than any one else. He made good players look sub-par.

I like how a thread about the best player from the 90s vs the best player now in a game of 1 on 1 is gonna have far and away more posts than BAS asking who people like to win the title this year.

You guys know you can't bet on MJ/bron in 1 on 1 right? Also, who cares who would win in 1 on 1? That has very little relevance to a real basketball discussion.

The 1985/1986 Boston Celtics were one of the best teams of all time. They went 40-1 at home that year.

Michael Jordan dropped 63 points on them in the playoffs, in Boston.

Michael Jordan raised his game to another level in the playoffs. At this point in his career, LeBron has a long way to go to catch Jordan in terms of greatness.

Um, you do realize that sports fans of all kinds have had discussions like this ever since the beginning of sports, and will do so every day until eternity?
Talking about how different athletes compare against one another is one of the fun things about following sports.

Larry Bird would beat either of them 1 on 1.

Can't wait to hear the responses on this one, lol.
