Pat, I've told this story once but...

Remember when the da' Bears won the SuperBowl in a blowout? Everybody I knew... I mean everybody, even my 15yo paperboy had Chi and the Over.

I used a Local who was about 66yo and he held everything! All the Bears' money & all the OVER $$ and all of the parlays Chi/Over.

After the gm, according to his wife, he went to take a piss and had a phucking heart attack in the bathroom and was DOA

Frank - LOL. Had something similar happen. We had a man die in a car wreck once who was very active with us and had been with us for a long time. It was awful. He was a friend of ours too, not just a customer. He died on a Sunday night and we owed him a decent amount (for back then anyway). My Pop wanted to pay his wife but she was such a sweetheart and so innocent he did not know how to do it, he didn't want to let her know it was gambling winnings but he insisted on paying her. He decided to make it sound like it was just a donaton to the family as they were not rich by any means. The next week he went by her house, "The poker guys wanted to send this as a small token of our sorrow at your loss". She took it out and counted it to the penny, "had we not got backdoored in the Bears game it could have really been ugly for you". She stayed a customer of ours too for the next 10 years or so until my Pop eventually passed away.

Fat Frank, you got a point here. However the problem at the wsex case was the soccer limits, and not NFL or anything else where things are crystal clear.
US books tend to offer soccer bets with upper limits of 180$ and at the same page another soccer bet with upper limit 3000$.Untill now they were sure that this limits manipulation was an advantage for them, well after Revere's case maybe they should reconsider about it and start being honest about the amounts they are willing to book.
