franky......help what??
i am going to assume you mean "credit players and credit books" dont resort to scamming each other like some post-ups do...
franky....in order to cut down on the fraud and scamming that happens to offshore books today...you have to put the "human element" back into booking in all phases....
i think just about every scam or fraud done to a book in a wagering situation (revere/Wsex) is done by computer...somehow the perp. finds a glitch and exposes it....and too many times its discovered much too late...and this is the case when books make honest mistakes ie. upside down numbers/off betting lines, these are usually bet via the computer......
sportsbooks will ALWAYS have these type situations when people wager by computer, as software gets outdated, scammers improves faster than the software....almost like a game of cat and mouse..
obviously books arent going to do away with wagering by computer....
so you have to safe-guard, by black and white wagering rules..
that supercedes any type of phuck up that can/might/never happen when someone makes a few clicks of the mouse....
or like i said put the "human factor" back into it....
books need to develope some system or safeguards that prevent computer wagering abuse....
so when Mr. Revere who lives in cali, but his account info is in shy-town, bets from some third-world country at the wee hours of the morning, places 80 different wagers on a laptop that was stolen from the local library......some live living person should have to give approval before the wager is accepted....i dunno im not very computer literate...so i dont know if thats cost-effective or what......
i realize alot of gamblers prefer to wager by mouse-clicking.....it offers convenience, privacy, alot of things i guess...and there are some whales that like to do this to...
so cutting all internet wagers to $20 dollars max per game per account aint gonna work....
but the guy that likes to bet 20dimes a position at the office using his computer....by god i want to know when hes doing this......somehow someway when he starts clicking, my people are gonna be made aware of this...that way when the software accepts a bet that Spiro wouldnt take if the man was betting "who buys the next round of beers".....i am on it....
oh almost forgot to answer the credit question....no
nothing is full proof...but there are ways to reduce the ways books can get burned....
