They're losing $$ and know they're going to take even more of a financial beatdown over the next couple of years. They have no interest in getting anywhere near their salary cap until the economy turns around.
Culpepper was a flop? Interesting opinion. He was easily one of the top 5 QBs in the league before his injury.
i guess since he is black u should lump them all together... How many cracker Qb suck... many many...
While I can see the racial element, I thought he was referring to the fact that all are about 6'6 and have arguably the best arms in the year's they came out and don't have the best mobility.
Not discounting or trying to justify the OP's statement, but when you compare the 4, they were all around 240-250, with cannons for an arm, but were not the fastest guys.
Culpepper had one of the best years for a QB of ALL TIME!!! yes...All time... it just so happened that peyton manning had the same thing, the same year...(culpepper led the league in yarrds for 4700 passing, i think 40 TDs and 12 INTs, most combined yards ever ---over 5200!. He's also top 5 of all time for rushing yards for a QB.... Culpepper is certainly not a flop. If a guy has a career threatening injury, you cant label him a flop after having some of the top individual QB seasons of all time. Don't care if you have Moss, Carter, and the rest...Fact is, he had one of the top 3 most prolific seasons ever. Guy also completed 73% and set college completion mark and then came in and did same shit in the NFL. Mentioning him with Leftwich and Russell is a disgrace. Believe Leftwich was in same draft....hasn't done anything remotely comparable to Culpepper since entering the league. Culpepper was a top 3 or 4 QB for the first half of the last decade...calling him a flop after suffering a gruesome injury is a great injustice. Guy excelled everywhere he was at before then..... Even though he was dumber than a box of rocks.
You are so right. He didn't list not one white guy as a failure at that position which indicates to him that you only fail if you are black. The white guy just didn't get the right breaks (players or coaches) to make him successful. :think2:
