If bigben wins his 3rd ring , should he be talked about as one of the great QB's of all time?

all of these great qb threads are useless, as aaron rodgers is the qb that all others will be judged against. :ohno:

A better case would be for Pittsburgh being a top dynasty. Roethlisberger isn't even going to be top five of this generation
They maybe the team of the decade if they win their third title. It's been six years for the Pats.

Ben will certainly be remembered as a winner, but his passing stats make it hard to call him an all time great.

I'm assuming all time great means something like top 10.

But at the end of the day, winning is what it's all about. Winning 3 or more SBs might get him into the HOF, I guess that would make him one of the all-time best.

Look at a guy like Jim Plunket. Two rings in dominating fashion. Probably will never see the HOF.

good pt. i believe they have what it takes to ein it all this yr and maybe 1 or 2 more while ben is still playing. ben might not have the 'awesome' or 'flashy' look of a so called'great' qb, but if they win a third this yr i can't see him not being in at least the top ten. elway didn't win shit till the END of his career. ben is at least as every bit as good as overrated elway....

Curious? Is it hard to type with tears in your eyes.

Nobody is crying about it. But, just because its been a few years, it doesn't change my opinion of what happened in the game. Am I suppose to feel differently now because time has passed ? Am I suppose to feel differently about OJ since he chopped off 2 heads because he was acquitted and its been a few years ? Not crying about that either, just my opinion hasn't changed.

A q.b. Job is to lead his team to a win.it is a team game.a qb who throws 35 - 45 times a game will have better"stats"
than a guy who doesnt.not hard to figure out.
Especially now when you cant look at a reciever with out getting flagged.
When the games over and you go home, the first question you get asked was did you win,
not did you throw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns?
