If bigben wins his 3rd ring , should he be talked about as one of the great QB's of all time?

If Big Ben is a top 5 QB than I rate myself somewhere around top 15 of all time - more and more misleading bs by fans - Horry is a top 5 player and Steve Kerr too

Wow gotta admit Robert Horry is a perfect example. (For those who understand what you're saying)

I will relook at my rankings after the season, but might put Ben close to or out of top 10. I'm bringing manning down a notch or so after another poor performance.

Over the decades the Steelers have always been a team built on defense. You see how far the Steelers go in those off years when their defense struggles and they have to lean on the QB to throw 35 times a game. Also in the past 20 years the AFC Central have been the poorest and worse offensive divisions in the entire NFL. Playing the two Ohio teams twice a year helps the Steelers lock up 1st round byes at an alarming rate. Nobody has an easier road to the Super Bowl year in and year out than the Steelers.

Big Ben is an above average QB but hardly elite.

"I think Vick is better." Are doing that for a "shock" type comment. Has Vick won anything? even his dogs couldn't win, proving this guy a life long loser just like his old man (father) and his brother(s)?

maybe top 5 rapists to play the qb position but top 5 qb to play the game all time, no way. If he carried those teams to the titles on his back I might be inclined to agree but in his first win he was the 2nd best qb on the field by a fair margin. Good qb and a gamer but those steeler wins were team wins not because of Ben.

it's funny how people will drag a qb through the mud when they lose, or the lack of credit they get when their team win's. football is a TOTAL TEAM SPORT. the qb play's one pos and one pos only. no sp tms, no def. and both these two can single handedly lose a game for their teams. no matter the stat's of a guy like ben, but if he is part of a team that win's 4 or 5 ring's there should be no doubt in people's mind that he is a all time great. i believe they win it this yr, which will be #3, and he has plenty of time to get a 4th or 5th. a little known fact, the steelers have had the most play's of 20+ yds this yr, like 74. the next closest was somthing like 57.....the steeler's have the all around best stat's of any team out there....i think that pitt win's this wknd 24-10....

I'm not ready to put Big Ben in the Top 5 just yet, even if he does win #3 this year, but he is getting close to the Top Ten of all-time. And, folks need to remember he is doing this with one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL this year, and it was the same story two years ago. His mobility is born out of necessity.

if they win a third this yr i would think that this whole team itself should all be in the top ten....

A better case would be for Pittsburgh being a top dynasty. Roethlisberger isn't even going to be top five of this generation

He was at the Pitt/Syracuse hoops game tonight. Is he going to rape some young co-ed in the parking lot?

He needs fucking weight watchers. Guy looks like an over weight fuck!

Not sure what his physical appearance has got to do with his production and leadership, especially if he gets a 2nd ring.
( I don't count the Seattle Super Bowl since NFL was hellbent on the Bettis story )
