Hearing a few stories of friends getting messages on their phones from unknown numbers asking to join in BLM marches as well as some other protests in their suburban neighborhoods on Long Island,NY with an ominous "whats theirs is ours" message. This has been going on for days here, so far nothing but peaceful demonstrations, just fearmongering in this area. But the mass messaging is a different approach I'd never heard to spread fear. NYC as you all see another story.
Understandable. If you've survived the past 20-40 (or more) years with just a couple firearms in your home, probably not a bad idea to double, or even triple down for that imaginary home invasion by the local nigerians
I doubt any folks out buying had guns or handguns, Maybe a shotgun , all were buying handguns to carry in car as they work in or around city being looted, burned destroyed and people injured. Come on ! Use ur noggin
Had one yesterday in o'fallon mo. Cops were told of it and they put out a message to the people. Organized by a high school student. Police marched with them and peaceful as could be. Best thing I think was the organizer and cops worked together and they got the info out that certain streets were gonna be closed and understand. It was well done
