When I leave a store, if they are checking bags, I slow down with my bag open and receipt in hand. Some times they check and some times they don't. I have never whined about it. If they pissed me off, I just wouldn't go there any more.

Like one poster said in this thread the A-Typical person who steals from shitty ass discount retail stores like this are your white 13-25 year olds. The little girls steal make up and shit and the boys steal tools small electronics stuff.
In general black people are the least amount to shoplift from stores because they are alreadt closely monitored and it would too tough to get away cleanly when you have a swat team of Walmart security waiting at the exit to bust them. Black people would rather sit in the parking lot in the dark and snatch a purse from a customer as they approached their car.
As for the way black people dress when they go shopping not all of them sport baggy ass pants and team apperal with dreads and fake overexuberent jewelry. Besides its not like the white people I have seen at Walmart are dressed for an interview or anything.
Lets face it Walmart in general is a place for 90% of people of a certain tax bracket and budget to shop and save at regardless of race. They should realize with them promoting the cheapest prices their customers drive out there and deal with packed parking lots and long checkout lines to save money not to steal an item or two. Target understands that and don't sweat their customers and they have one of the best in store security staffs on the planet. They only approach you if they seen you stuff your pockets and monitored you from that point until you left the store to make sure you actually tried to exit the store without paying for something.

The only employees with the authority to apprehend shoplifters are the Loss Prevention associates and managers after they have witnessed concealment, passed the last point of sale, and have exited the store. Call 1-800-wal-mart and complain, they used to send you a $100 gift card.
