Under California law, you are not required to permit any store employee to check your receipt and it's illegal for them to prevent you from leaving for refusing to be checked. When someone tries to check my receipt, I inform them that they don't need to see anything and keep walking. If they press it, I inform them that if they don't want to obey state law, I'll be happy to make them obey it. This has worked for me at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Fry's Electronics and other stores. If you're in a membership store (Costco, Sam's Club, et al) the store can probably revoke your membership privileges for doing so.
Store employees can detain for shoplifting but not for refusing a receipt check. In order to detain for shoplifting, one must be seen taking the item, they must wait until one exits the store and one must be observed (by human eye or camera) constantly from the time one take the item until the time one exits the store). If store employees aren't detaining for shoplifting, they're engaging in attempted kidnapping.

I guess since black people are no longer working for free in this country you no longer want to employ them. I guess since black people are no longer doing the cooking, cleaning, chauffeuring and raising your children they are no longer allowed in your house or even in your same neighborhood.
