Firepay is pretty damn good, until they accuse you af chargebacking (of course they do not tell you anything about it - they just lock your account and email a warning all merchants where you have ever used Firepay). I only found out because a merchant where I used Firepay told me about the closure of my Firepay account.

After trying to convince Firepay myself that the error was fully on their side, I was helped by an independint 3rd party that managed to convince Firepay that I had done nothing wrong whatsoever.

Still, several merchants locked my account with them, and some of them haven't even opened my account again, even though I have done nothing wrong.

My firepay account is now frozen for no apparent reason also...I emailed them about it, and they responded that they have no clue why my account is locked...

They said they will investigate, and let me know...

After bugging Firepay, I finally got a response - they have accused me of "charging back" something...of course, I haven't charged anything back, and they can't supply any info on what they are accusing me of charging back /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The first sign of trouble might be when they put a customer on-hold for over 30 minutes for a simple question.
I don't see how they will ever succeed. Maybe they are the ones that started V-chips!!

These dumb bastards have really annoyed me...I doubt that I have used firepay for 10 total transactions (deposit & withdraw) since I opened the account, but they still managed to fukk up my account...

I've sent an email a day begging for any detail on who I charged back, when, what amount, a phone # to call, etc., and this is response that I get back every single day...

Dear Client,

For risk management reasons, your FirePay Personal Account is permanently disabled.

I could ask them, "How's the weather?", and I'd get the same lame-ass form letter response...

Ordinarily, I wouldn't even give a shit about these incompetent morons falsely accusing me of charging back something and closing my account, but the books that I deposited with via Firepay are adamant that I withdraw via Firepay...I don't know if I could withdraw to a firepay account that's "permanently disabled" anyway, but I wouldn't EVER attempt it anyway at this point...my guess would be that they confiscate/steal my money...they can't even answer elementary questions, so I have ZERO confidence that they would ever pay me...

I'm still trying to work something out with the 2 books to get around any future firepay transactions, and they may give me a break on my withdrawals...we'll see how that part shakes out...

I have NEVER charged back anything, and firepay obviously has no proof that I did...their computer system fukked up my account, and they are just too stupid and incompetent to fix it - so they just closed my account...

Stay away from these bumbling idiots at all costs! The risk is too great that something will get fukked up, and then it's impossible to get them to rectify their mistakes!!!

I hear Jasper is "no longer with the company." Ask for Keith. He is a real piece of work.

Good luck. You are screwed.

Yeah, based their complete incompetence and inability to do anything right, I figure I'm fukked on the firepay end of things...I've pretty much given up on getting firepay to fix their fukkups...

I just hope I can work something out with the books on withdrawing my winnings so I can be done with firepay forever...

GL to you as well...I'm annoyed with them, but you've had it much rougher than me...

I've also heard that FirePay is loosing money several quarters in a row...

I am wondering if they would go belly up will all FirePay customers loose their account balances with FirePay?

Or those balances somehow guaranteed?

Firegay got me too. They double charged a simple $100 deposit, which caused a check to bounce and three other debits go overdraft.

I called them up, put me on hold for an hour, then they give me a bland, generic assurance the extra charge would be refunded.

I said, "Fuk that!". I charged it back Big Time. Then a couple weeks later, they refunded the original $100 as well.

Too bad, so sad. They made a mistake TWICE. I wasn't going to say nothin and I didn't until INTERTOPS suspended my account and demanded I pay them the $100 since that is where the original deposit went to.

Instead of contacting me, Firegay went crying to INTERTOPS behind my back and tried to get me in trouble. I would have paid them back if they asked.

I did end up paying INTERTOPS back, but I am permanently banned from depositing with my debit card there now.

Too many people have had similar situations with these guys. They're worthless. They don't even have a contact number or email on their website. I can't believe anyone would ever use these fools.

Well I for one thought they were pretty damn good too.Been using them almost a year with no problems.Well that was before this past week. They didn't credit my account as they should have yet debited my checking account so I'm out money.Course nobody works there on holiday weekends and after finally answering my emails I have to send copies of bank statements to show THEIR mistake.I'm now a believer. They suck.

This is just horrendous Thrill. I had no idea this was still going on. Come on FIREPAY, take care of this!!!

If you have your account number send it to me along with your real name and I will write them on your behalf. Hell what can it hurt? At least for nothing else to get it cleared up.

I swear my one experience with them a couple of years or more ago--the woman sounded like she was in the twilight zone, when I was explaining my problem of funds not yet back on credit card. 45 minutes---no lie-I was on hold most of the time, with someone occassionally picking up phone. I look back now and realize how LUCKY I was to get my money back($500). Where do they get their employees?? LOL

BUMP for all the sick bastards that think Firepay is even remotely legit. I never did get my situation resolved. After almost a year they finally just emailed me and said the matter is now closed. Ridiculous.

My account is still frozen and they refuse to communicate with me also...

My offer to Firepay still stands - anytime, anywhere, anyplace...I'll match any amount of funds that this band of thieves can scrape together and are willing to wager, that I've NEVER charged anything back in my life...
