Lol. That’s not bad defense by Lebron. It was off an offensive rebound and scramble.

Um, yes I am a ref. It's not like I'm a lone voice out there pointing out that LeBitch was late on the closeout,
That’ close out isn’t his responsibility. He has to cover the bucket . The others guys didn’t rotate to he had to make a last second effort

LeBron played great defense to guard the bucket. You let a guy shoot over take a layup any day.

Guy is literally protecting the bucket on a scramble with a few seconds left.

Literally the best thing he could do in that situation

Lebron is the most unfairly criticized athlete of last couple decades

I'll watch the video before I comment further, I was going off of what I read in the press about the play.

As for as LeBron being criticized unfairly comment, bwahshshs. The doichebag brings it all on himself by the fucking stupid things he says ( and does). Not sure why you seem oblivious to this, I'm far from the lone voice out there on this one either.

What’s there to watch? Look at the photo.:..you know the sport enough. Why in god’s name would anyone leave a guy wide open under the bucket when you’re up 2 in the final seconds?

LeBron doesn’t really give a shit what people think of him. Never. Hell high profile people like Skip Bayless have made a career going on national television and thinking of ANYTHING to criticize the guy, yet LeBron has never acknowledged. Most nba players would be livid and get into a pissing match if that happened to them. Not LeBron. He says what he wants to say, and to some level you have to respect that even if you disagree with him.

He does get criticized unfairly. You bringing up that defensive sequence is a perfect example. Let’s also just conveniently forget that on the other side of the court LeBron hit a clutch, tough floater to give them the 2 pt lead with 20 secs left.

Some reasons why I and many others can't stand LeDoucheBag:

1. His incitement of race wars by saying and doing really stupid things. A police officer shoots and kills a black girl who was attacking another black girl with a knife. LeDumbFuck sends out a tweet threatening the police officer saying "You’re Next #Accountability."
1a. During the Ahmaud Arbery drama, LeDumbFuck tweets out: "We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes! Can’t even go for a damn jog man! Like WTF man are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!? No man fr ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! "
https://www.westernjournal.com/lebr...unted-every-day-numbers-tell-different-story/
2. He is a fucking drama queen, even Charles Barkley had the balls to say it on TNT:
3. His gay ass flopping. There are tons of compilation videos on youtube. Here is just one:
4. His manipulations in creating superteams: https://www.si.com/nba/heat/miami-news/shaquille-oneal-blames-lebron-james-for-superteam-concept
5. Declaring himself the GOAT in 2016 (fucking clown):
6. LeDumbFuck tries so hard to fake being intelligent. Idiot purposely gets his picture taken actually "reading" books, but he's always on page 1. ROFL. Here he is getting exposed for pretending to read a Malcolm X book (not the only time this has happened): https://www.rt.com/sport/498737-lebron-james-malcolm-x-book-fake/

7. Check out the compilation videos on youtube of LeBitch not playing defense, and then blaming other people, here is just one:

Why do you have a problem with these things though? He’s allowed to say these things and he’s often right to be honest. I don’t always agree with him though

Everyone flops, it’s part of the game. Why don’t you make a thread about how Marcus Smart is the biggest flopper in NBA history? Probably cuz he’s a Celtic

There are so many athletes that do and say SO much worse . LeBron is just constantly under a microscope

You could probably write a novel about what a shit head Kobe Bryant was. But he died tragically so he’s off the hook I guess

Sigh... This is what I read about the play - which does indeed require one to look at the video to confirm (since you asked)...

LeBron mistakenly shaded towards AD's coverage/man, which caused AD to leave his man, and basically broke up the defensive coverage, and
ended up leaving a man wide open for the game winning 3. Whether or not that is true, cannot be determined from the picture, but looks plausible. Now, does that answer your question?

I have coached at the varsity level, and currently ref at the varsity level, and also work multiple NCAA college tables in the Austin area, so you can quit the lame, patronizing questioning of my knowledge of the game.

Citing Charles Barkley is pretty dumb

I remember when he said the Warriors would never win a ring because they are a “jump shooting team” . Then they go on to be a generational dynasty lol

People like Charles are salty about the lack of success of guys like Lebron, the Warriors, etc. he’s a clown

If you think that’s bad defense from LeBron then you really should be questioned about your knowledge of the game

He was in the paint because AD failed to take care of it. Plus their guards overloaded on the left wing and couldn’t rotate properly as a result.

All this is happening with under 3 seconds left on a scramble off an offensive rebound. Hard to get your defense set in that situation anyway, so I’ll let LeBron’s teammates off the hook a little

But damn, they didn’t lose this game because LeBron couldn’t cover two people lol

I played the game at a high level, I know how it works too. LeBron played that sequence well

I told you, I needed to review the video before I could verify what was being said online, but you seem to want to kerp harping on it anyway.

Your continued lame ass questioning of my knowledge of the game is comical.

You seem to get personally butthurt when people are critical of LeBron, rofl.

If you needed to review the video before you made a judgment, then why the hell did you post the photo in the first place?

You're basically admitting that you are pre-judging

I think you know the game, but you evaluate LeBron with bias and it clearly clouds your judgment.

If Kawhi did that same play, you wouldn't critique it at all. Although Kawhi is basically not a basketball player anymore at this point.

Don’t really care about criticism, just think it’s hilarious to see the double standards and levels that haters will go to without ever sharing a sliver of praise for one of the greatest athletes ever

Um, you are being obtuse. I made the case that LeBron is fairly criticized.
You said it's dumb to think he is the most unfairly criticized athlete, yet you can't name one more criticized.

Just resort to statements like this lol

I can already see that day LeBron passes Kareem for the scoring record

"He broke Kareem's nearly unbreakable record, but he also had 5 turnovers, what a terrible player!"
