About the near term future of Offshore gaming. Particularly moving $$ around.

As of today I have little, basically no, $$ setting in any 3rd party $$ transfer company, sent most of it home, and am in only 5 SOLID Books.

I got some worrisome news about NETeller today. Was told Bank of America California will not honor NETeller's debit card in their ATMs.

IB, a C/S lady at the main BoA in San Diego.

I went in and asked after the second time in two days my card was declined.

Also, my Credit Union ATM will not take it any more either but have not asked why inside.

I use western union, im good friends with the man that owns the business there.. no problem at all doing $999.. i use neteller but only to transfer from book to book, for withdraws -- i use western union... i have 3 locals, so all this is a moot point for me,, the old days could return..

Interesting post. Let me ask you guys a couple of questions, just to make this discussion as open as possible.

FF, do you have any financial interest in any funds transfers company? If you do, then you might not be the most objective poster regarding NT. If you don't, do you think that Bank of America is the only entity that will offer NT a possibility of representation in the State of California?

General: What kind of pressure would the U.S.Government be putting on a Canadian company? It is probable, but would they succeed at it? After all, NT is a company with global projections now. For how long will the fascist US Gov. be able to isolate their citizens from the rest of the world? Will Bush be re-elected? To many ifs and buts, to start thinking that NT is not the most convenient option for gamblers right now.

RPM, I used to keep a nice sum in NETeller and watched several books and only sent $$ to the book which had a good #. I only only kept a handful of books fat.

Neteller makes a fortune off of us players and the books, I just don't see them aknowledging the U.S's pressure or threats.

No...

Concerning BoA, They were the 1st bank to stop online casino charges to their CC. They just might be leading the pack on NETeller Debit cards. I just dont know.

I believe that neteller is the best avenue right now. I am not saying anything definate, just that I was told that Neteller had some concerns over the US attempted blockade of transfers. I have No idea if it true, but i do believe the person who told me that Neteller has it's concerns.

That's all I know and I will continue to use Neteller until i hear anything definate.

I have another reason not to transfer $$ to and from NETeller from my Bank Acct. I dont really want to go into specifics but let's just say it had something to do with my cpa/taxman.

I would really hate to lose the variety and ease of online line shopping but using a Local and settling-up on tues over dinner was/is easier in some respects.
