I'm sure this has been addressed but I don't feel like searching - what is the best method to receive a relatively small pay out (say 3k) from Bodog - on their site it says checks take 40 business days - WTF? - anyone do a book to book with them?

I would ask for a WU payout if they still offer it. I made the mistake of asking for a check and it took me 30 days to get.

Seymour,

I would use either Moneygram or WU. Get your money in 24hrs. Did it the other day with no issues for $2600. Used MG. Have to make a deposit thru it though first.

Bodog is extremely overrated. Them having an A rating is funny.

I requested a withdraw via check of $500 from Bodog on July 15, 2008. It was approved the next day.

Today is August 19, 2008. I still have not seen the check. I emailed them last week and they replied with what sounded like an auto-mated email.

"Upon reviewing your account we see that you made a payout request on June 15th for $500 via Check by Mail, and are currently on the 42nd business day since. However, we have currently lost one of our processors and are no longer able to send payouts via Mail. Because of this, your payout has been upgraded to Check by Courier, which due to the loss of one of our processors, is taking on average 40 business days to receive.

These time frames are only tentative, and as we get more information on this matter from our processor we will be able to set more concrete time frames and update accordingly....."

Today is the 47th business day. I've decided to give them until the end of the week before raising hell. I'll update this thread if/when I get that check.

Regarding withdrawals from Rx.com Sponsors.

Any Rxer who would like my assistance in obtaining a withdrawal that is approaching overdue status from BODOG (or any other Rx Sponsor) should take a minute and email the name of the book, the account number, name on the account, the amount involved, your Rx Poster name and any other details you feel are pertinent at wilheim@therx.com and kindly CC person19481950@yahoo.com.

I will make inquiries in your behalf immediately (or as soon as possible given the time of day).

Thanks, wil.

I'll give em til the end of the week and then I think I'll take up on that. Thanks.

Ya know I expected the check to take a while when I requested it because the same thing happened the last time I got a withdraw via check about 2 years ago - it took almost 2 months, but it did finally arrive. That's why I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I hate to keep trashing their good name on your site, but they're really trying my patience.

Waited a while recently from a another book previouly here, the check came (free) the day after I e-mailed WILHEIM.

For those of you who don't know how to read, it's taking 30-40 days for checks and 24 hrs for moneygram/western union.

Why The Hell You Guys Deal W/BoDog

is beyond me. Slow lines, slower pay, other than that they're great.

I joined Bodog about two years ago because at the time they had an "A" rating, they had a fairly easy deposit method through ewallet, and I wanted a site where I could make sportsbets and play on-line poker.

But I now realize they don't offer the best odds, the lines are slow to come out, and they generally have less sports-betting options.

BTW - in my earlier post I wrongly said the withdraw was made on "July 15"... it should have said "June 15".

payout requests via check are going to take a long time everytime... people should just stop requesting to be paid that way. processors are a rarity these days.

don't request a check.

ive been waiting since since july 8 for my check. i was told a check by mail was the only means i could withdrawl since my last deposit was by electronic check which i found to be crazy as i was willing to pay for a faster payout.

im so fed up with bodog as even their poker room has slowed to a crawl and i feel like the games have gotten tighter over the past 6 mos that i decided to either blow my account or hit it big playing sng's way over my limit. im sure you can guess how that ended.
