It is funny to me everyone is chiming in on how much $100 means to them in various aspects of life.

He obviously just made the thread cause he is pissed someone is slowpaying/stiffing him. Finding out who slowpay/stiff is and then guilting him into paying and/or exposing him is the main thing we need to do here people. Focus!
I knew what the thread was about the second I read the title...

I have no problem with someone calling a stiff out but at least have the balls to do it without all the window dressing.

Oh, yeah I didn't. Who is it?

I actually agree, if your gonna make the post everyone is gonna know anyway. Problem is once you go public with calling someone a stiff your chances from getting paid usually go from X to .001002t4404600% or so.

I had no clue who it was about, I just remember him crying about 100 bucks from a poker tourney a few times prior.

Instead of starting 1 thread and saying _____ stiffed me, he would rather beat around the bush in 35 different threads about it. Annoying to say the least.

And all the while he is doing it, other people's names are being thrown out as being stiffs themselves because he won't just say, "so-in-so is a fuck face and owes me 100 bucks"!

So who is the stiff?
Meanwhile, Chop is a few posts away from becoming a drama queen.

All I know is when kid78 tried to angle shoot me on some bullshit I called his ass out.

Some people $1-200 is a lot of $ to. That is the main point chop is making. Unfortunately these people don't think $1-200 is a lot of $ to them when they make bets.

If someone lies to you or ignores you on an owed debt call their ass out. It is pretty damn simple.

All this other bullshit is for the birds.

Not to hijack this or anything but I bumped 2 threads with my situation with Kid78 if anyone wants some vitriolic entertainment.

I figured it was a good time to go back and look at those threads now that we have the subject of a stiff/angle shooter on the forum coming up.

I have this conversation with my wife all the time about how i have become so desensitized to money.....

So here is how I feel about losing $100 in each situation

in a bar with friends: dont even notice it
poker game: dont even flinch
blackjack: no hesitation
doctors office: very annoyed
grocery store: slightly annoyed
shoe store: shocked
clothing store: puzzled
restaurant: dont care
gas station: usually around 60 or so but extremely horrified
getting stiffed online: ehhhhh
getting stiffed in person: rage
charity: good

lol I don't get the Clark reference?

But yeah obviousy he wants to get paid because getting stiffed is the worst possible way to lose $. Knowing that you calculuated in your head you had a 61% chance to win a bet or whatever but then findout 61% chance to win 0 and 39% chance to lose $100 or whatever is the worst.

If losing $100 is a big deal to you then you shouldn't be reading this message. You should actually be out looking for a job, a raise or a second job instead of sitting here on a gambling forum.

But to answer your question, I have no idea what $100 is because my wife handles all the finances. I have no idea what goes out each month or what bills we have. I found out the other day she puts money into stocks and I had no clue. I check our account once a month and she tells me we're making more than sending out so that's all I need to know.

the fact we all feel the same way about "gambling money" and "wallet money" is what makes us degenerates.

where i may differ is a $100-$200 bet for me is average on my computer....but when I am in vegas and take my $220 to the ticket window, i'm sweating that game as if my vacation depends on it....then that winning ticket (now worth $420) is like a gold brick to me.

same here

LOL...

Yeah I am serious, I think we should findout who the stiff is and then burn them at the stakes!

His $100 question was obviously rhetorical in nature and meant to jab the stiffer. Nothing wrong with people posting what they think of losing $100 in different situations, just saying it wasn't his overall point I don't think.

Actually like patsfan said, the purpose of this thread was not to out anyone. I was just trying to understand the mindset of someone that would stiff over 100 dollars.

More curious then anything. That and I hate free rollers. Especially free rollers that I have payed in the past

This is an interesting thread.

I can lose $30K in net worth in a couple days depending on swings in the stock market, but if I lose $25 on a hand in poker, when someone hits a 2 outer doing something stupid, it makes me more angry.

I dont often agree with you but do in this situation. I can get hammered betting sports all day....but getting a bad poker beat by someones horrible call or just a bad beat......infuriates me
