Thanks The SHRINK. Appreciate the props. Hey Motown was my time in the limelight. Just happen to fall in my best NBA playoffs ever. But to bask in former glory in this business is ruinous. I leave that for the touts. People ask me, "What you got today Froggy?" Better have a successful day because memories do not pay.
When you have a national pasttime like the NCAA tourney, there are people who live for it. They are dedicated. The one guy I follow has 15 years of dedication. Never bet in his life. Does not know the point spreads. But he has to profile upsets. Or bracket busters. I just follow his upset guidelines. Pretty simple, but very effective. My top two trends, fade Ivy, bet MEAC both kept going. I prefer the NBA.
As far as middling, scalping and having more than 5 outs, there are a few of us, but by far not everyone. Just like any other business, there are different levels of sophistication and developement. I started out betting 3 teamers. Used to cap in High School Civics class. Teacher gave me an F. Ironically he also bet and asked my opinions on the games. Guess he wanted me back for one more semester. Some people just stick at that level. One of my lifelong goals is self improvement. The second is to remain consistently profitable. I do believe in order to achieve those goals you need as many outs as you can manage, and to find ways to earn in the non traditional, which side do you have world. What do I like about this business, no BS, no politics, no excuses. It is a bottom line cash and carry business. I cannot think of a better pond for me.
Best Wishes...OF:howdy:
