There backs have been against the wall all season. They were supposed to fade after the all star break, they didn't. They were supposed to fade in Sept, they didn't. They were supposed to fade once the playoffs started, they didn't. They were supposed to fade when Boston came back from 7-0 in game 5 they didn't. Who thinks they will beat a red hot Cole Hamels? Not many people, but me. Kazmir has been with the Rays since the get go and I am feeling he shows up in a huge way. He will be able to hold the Philadelphia lefties in check. Ryan Howard will not be hitting 2 home runs tonight. Take his bat out of the lineup, and neutralize Utley's bat and the Rays will have a very good shot at winning. Seeing Hamels for the 2nd time in a week can only help. With these odds I have to back the Rays one more time. Tampa 3 Philadelphia 1

Not the end to the season I was hoping for, but overall I will take a successful season. Tampa winning the series would have been icing on the cake, but am relieved now that I hedged out, and at least won a few bucks on the world series outcome.
