Hamels is an ace, moyer is solid.

They need Myers to come back and pitch well.

Myers is done. Their 5 starters should be: Hamels, Moyer, Blanton, Kendrick, and Happ.

Glavine just turned 42. Moyer turns 46 in a few months.

I would of definitely took Laporta and the other guys the Indians received over Carrasco and Victorino, but thats just me.

Carrasco is viewed more as potential. He hasn't put up great numbers, but he has the potential to be a top of the rotation guy. Victorino would fit nice as their leadoff hitter as they could move Sizemore to the #3 spot. Happ is a solid 4-5 starter too. I can see why they couldn't get CC because the Indians wanted a position player, but I think this is a better offer for Harden than the Cubs gave up.
