found a cell phone and returned it this am...have found wallets full of cash and stuff that ive also returned. if i have the ability to get the crap back to its rightful owner i do... donate platelets twice a month...stem cells a few years ago through be the match..have given gift cards and shit to make a wish...

Very honorable and Noble of you.

I'd just be happy for a lost wallet to be returned to me with ID, bank cards, etc. Intact
I tend to carry probably more cash than most people do, rarely less than $100, more often $200-300.

I would gladly lose that walking around cash as a finder's fee for the return of the rest of my documents.

Many people that are wealthy carry no cash whatsoever. Some I'll eagle aliens carry thousands in cash because they have no choice and won't even attempt to open a bank account
I like enough cash to perhaps pay for a hotel room, taxi, a meal or two if somehow stranded

Probably not the best move to carry that much cash in today's world.

Me too. Always need a little cash. Drives me insane when people literally dont have a dollar on them.

But I sure as hell wouldn't walk around every day with 4 figures on me.

Me too. A little less these days but at least half that or I wouldn't feel right walking out of the house.

It's been a number of years, but I used to go with some friends to some of the run-down city streets, where homeless hung out, and
buy them a hot meal.

Keeping stuff that you know isn't yours and you could return is totally uncool. I couldn't sleep at night..to me that's stealing. I walk alot, street run and stuff. Very observant..ive found multiple wallets, phones, jewelry, gift cards, paper money, drugs, porno tapes all kinds of shit.

Received tons of outreach and gifts from people after my 2015, bypass.

Once actually received a $ 2,500 tip from a client (no, this never happens)

I paid for a friend's utility and cable bill after everything was shut off without even telling him, about $ 1,700. He's a tradesman, he worked it off

And I talk to people all the time answering their questions even when they're not my client, even during tax season. I never act like my shit don't stink.

I keep working for people even when they owe me money, my wife thinks I'm an asshole but I trust they'll eventually pay (some don't)

Do this Allllllll the time,,, Every year I have a client or 2 that lose thier job??? and they need their hair done,, their child/husband/parent goes into hospital,, times get lean,, ALWAYS,, I keep them coming in, and dont charge them,, Always,,,
the cost of a color job is roughly 10 bucks,, (not including having to pay my asst), I follow the mantra, My clients love me, I love them in return,, I have a HUGE clientelle because of that,,
unconditional love,, help them stay feeling beautiful in tough times,,

greatest give you can give anyone,, I love what I do,,

I will pay for the person behind me sometimes in the drive through line. This one time they told me the total and the car behind me ordered $34 worth of chic fil a. It was a Milf in a minivan full of kids so I had no problem with it lol.

Cops often get comped anyway, most convenience stores won't charge police, firefighters, military, EMT's and similar if in uniform for stuff that you don't have to a count for like coffee, tea, fountain drinks and the like, can't just comp something barcoded like a bottle of Pepsi, diner type places like a Denny's type of place will often comp a cop, maybe not Everytime, but often, they want you there .

The Western thing was unforgettable

Another much smaller act was a lady just giving me a roll of quarters at the laundromat, things like that can really make your day and make you want to something similar for others

Chill out dude, different strokes for different folks, nothing personal about it. I do believe that most average people probably carry less than $200 in cash. Most purchases under $10 should be done with cash and women should not digging around in their purse for 2 minutes to find the 43 cents the transaction ends in .

If you don't feel comfortable with less than a dime in cash, then so be it . I don't need that much in less for some specific purpose.

People do some incredibly stupid things. I used to work at USPS like 15-20 years Ago, lots of Vietnam veterans and quite a few Philopinos amoung them .

This one guy named Juan was pretty well off and owned a few rental properties plus his Navy retirement and postal job, kind of the braggart sort, a little guy no more than 5' 5" and 150 lbs and easily 60.

He loved to flaunt his relative wealth. He carried a $1,000 bill in his wallet and loved to flash it . You can't just go to the bank and get one of those. It would have cost around 1500 to get one 20 years ago, same price now .

The point is you never spend it and would have a hard time even trying to . That is not walking around money, just like saying , hey come rob me !
