Has anyone ever seen a Tornado?

where'd you see one? how far was it?

well the lady at the bar told us one was coming stay away from the windows

no cell phones so me friend calls his wife she tells him to come home

so sure I drive him home like 2 miles from the bar then I was going back to bar

so on the way their I go in front of school telephone pole are about to fall down wires did fall and hit the car I was driving on the wrong side of road so I had an extra 6 feet to dodge one if it fell

it was night so hard to see it but you could hear it school was still up

drop him off and headed back to bar going on road behind the school their was trees and stuff all over the road school half down weave my way thru

the bar was still standing no damage but the 6 stores next to it were gone

as the Tornado bounced we must of been just ahead of it or under it

crazy

then 2 weeks later at another bar and we come out and one had hit 1/4 mile away

Seen one here come across the street about 6:30 am , it killed 11 people that morning, it's been about 15 years ago. Everyone that was killed that morning lived in a mobile home all in one small 3 acre spot

Never will forget it. I was on my patio in Penna and it was picking up 30 to 40 foot tree and throwing them in the air like they were tooth picks.

I saw a tornado when I was canoeing in a river! Whereabouts was that? Could be the same area ha! It's funny I was always told as a kid if you hear the a sound like a train whistle to run for cover, and then my wife and I heard it! Was the first time both of us had seen one. Terrifying experience actually, we had rented one of these caravan and the caravan was very badly damaged. The roof was torn off, lukcily we had insurance but the damage left in the wake of that tornado was unbelievable. Hasn't put us off canoeing or camping though! We go every year, and still take a caravan with us! Have you seen the film Twitser? Haven't seen it in years but this thread reminded me of it haha
