Gas supplies will go up over the next month-so prices may trend down, but that may be offset by people making their summer vacation plans. Tough call right now if it's worth waiting a couple weeks for the gas panic to subside.

Actually that's not always true.
Sometimes one airline will initiate a fare sale and the others will match it.
Other times they will discount unsold seats.
But if you see a fare you're comfortable with, buy it.

True that probably, but my commonsense tells me if I order a ticket in advance it wont be like 10 DAYS in advance! It will be at least like a month or so. In other words, one shall be aware that buying in advance is not really buying in advance if one does so 10 DAYS prior to the flight. But good point though.

Its one of those things that I NEVER really knew but at the same time I would NEVER expect a airline to sell a ticket to me like 10 DAYS before I'm planning to fly as a 'Early Bird' special either.
