Well, if $$ is not barrier, then fly first class on whoever goes to LV, you would be a fool to do otherwise...

JetBlue flies out of Dulles. They have a non-stop of 5 1/2 hours including movies and cable TV. They even have a trip indicator which tells you your location on the map and your speed and altitude.

Tickets can be had for $368 round-trip flying Friday, August 17th returning Sunday, August 19th on www.jetblue.com.

For those with anxiety problems, your personal physician can prescribe anti-anxiety medicine just for plane flights.

problem with JB is there is only one direct flight per day and it is at like 8 pm.

Not the best airline but yeas, I think their hub is Phoenix so there are plenty of flights to the City of Sin.

southwest doesn't use the hub and spoke system, which is why it is one of the better airlines with more options and a high on time rate. There are a number of direct flights from BWI daily.

Southwest, because you aren't assigned a seat. You can get your A boarding pass 24 hours before your flight. Then, with your "A" boarding pass, you can sit anywhere you want on the plane.

And, if you don't get an A, there is a way to change your printable boarding pass to make it look like an A.

TTP, thats just terrible. I often think of him when I come across 'thats my worst fear' syndrome.

I tell myself I dont have any worst fears, so I wont go out that way.

Haha, I thought it was pretty creative.

I was just going to post some pictures of plane crashes on page one when I first read the thread but restrained myself - for the first time ever. Felt pretty lame, glad somebody came through.

Yeah. I see that now. The one going from Dulles to Vegas gets you there at 10pm or so. The one coming back is a red-eye flight. He could take an earlier flight but it wouldn't be non-stop.

I don't get it ! Are you really afraid of flying ? I thought this was just a joke ? Why so defensive ?

Joey's confused.

Joey are you still taking the scenic bus route?

I'm trying to talk Teazeman into it, I think he is considering it. I would love to get two more to commit. I'd gladly drive to Baltimore if you want in.

If I get 4 guys including myself i'll book the Rv tomorrow.

It would take a minor miracle for me to be able to go that route and unfortunately I would not be able to comiitt to that anytime soon...out of curiosity, how much would it cost per person?

Great, two guys post videos making fun of you and I'm the one that gets on post review.

Damn, you threw yourself out there with the problem - I didn't know you would take it so personally.

Good luck, I'd go Jetblue. TV makes the ride fly by.

All the airlines suck.
Just drink a couple beers and pass out on the flight.
fwiw, Southwest has $99 fares non stop to Vegas from BWI.
Skins and I are flying out there on Wed night on Southwest if you want to hop on that flight.

I have no idea how long that fare is good for.
Here's the flight details though:
