Like I said on the previous page, I'd be legitimately shocked if he wasn't convicted. Probably will get like 10, 5-7 w/ good behavior and that is a wrap.

It actually reminds me of the Ray Rice situation, the video just brings such a visceral and emotional reaction. The cop basically looks ready to slap the guy with his dick with that smirk on his face.

Latest autopsy results differ from initial results:

The attorney for George Floyd's family, Benjamin Crump, said Monday that an independent autopsy "determined that asphyxiation from sustained pressure was the cause" of Floyd's death in an incident that has sparked tense protests and violence across the nation.
Dr. Michael Baden and Dr. Allecia Wilson performed the autopsy and said there was "neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain," according to Crump's statement. They added that "weight on the back, handcuffs and positioning were contributory factors because they impaired the ability of Mr. Floyd’s diaphragm to function."
Baden and Wilson said it appeared that Floyd died at the scene of the incident.

Is this admissible in court?

We all knew that the medical exam paid for by the family would contradict the states, so now what?
Can there be a real exam done by someone totally impartial to the outcome otherwise this is a dog and pony show

that's the point of a jury trial - confuse the idiot jurors - they have 3 expert witnesses all saying contradictory things and the jurors get confused as to who to believe

if three people shoot someone it can be hard to tell who fired the actual fatal shot - they're all guilty of the killing though - in this case, even the first autopsy says something about the arrest being a factor so I would assume that's enough but it's definitely going to be a factor for the defense to argue - this cop went to a grand jury previously for killing someone but wasn't indicted - that emboldened him - this is what he does - he doesn't discriminate either - he does it to anyone he fucken pleases - 25 years in prison is basically ur whole adult life so it's time for him to pay

,
Agree. He might even be guilty of a lessor charge , but country probably needs him to be sacrificed

it's not a sacrifice - it's saving a life - white or black - he would kill someone again - guarantee the other cops were intimated by him and that's why they did nothing - he's fucken Richie Incognito

He never should have still been on the police force with his record, he should have been fired long ago.

You have to put the blame on the weak Democrat mayor, police chief, and Amy Klobuchar who refused to prosecute him in the past.

All 3 of them should be 100% held responsible for this incident
It is of little solace to the family or community but people need to be held responsible for not doing their job
and allowed a really bad cop to continue. I know that another cop involved int he incident has 6 issues on his record.
I would like to know how many other cops on the force there should also be let go?

It usually has very little to do with government officials, regardless of what letter they have in front of their name. It’s more about the unions and the protection they provide the frequent fliers within the force.

Across the country, about 90% of the complaints come from 10% of the police force. Union CBA’s allow for all sorts of crazy shit like erasing previous citations/complaints within a certain period of time, some as low as 3-6 months, substituting sick/leave and vacation for suspensions, allowing officers involved in complaints complete access to their own case files prior to interrogation, etc.

Throw in the arbitrators, and you’re left with a situation where less than 5% of complaints lead to any serious penalty and they never lose their job unless it’s outlandishly deviant and/or caught on film.

I understand how it works but in this case he was egregiously over the top of what normally goes on.
So, yes I do blame the mayor, chief of police, and Klobuchar 100%

You think they can find enough people for an impartial jury?

No, but they have to assemble a jury unless they plan on offering a lower plea which I could never see happening - u could see hung jury after hung jury

Under "other significant conditions” it said Floyd suffered from heart disease and hypertension, and listed fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use.

Whenever something done by the government is questioned, the right thing to do is to continue accepting whatever the government said.

That was not my point if you actually knew from my posting history I do not trust government...
If you actually read my post you would understand what I meant or you are stupid or you are fucking with me because you are a fucking moron

I am in no mood to be fucked with asshole!!!

Just like I said they contradict each other so there needs to be a truly independent autopsy done by someone who has no skin in the game
So far the two autopsy's have been done by people who may be swayed

There you go asshole, stick that up your ass

When you put it like this, with exclamation points and comments about other guys assholes, it all makes sense. I now agree with you and your well-spoken explanation. Thanks.

Dumb and dumber are still too stupid to understand that whether he murdered a 25 year old in perfect health or an 80 year old with emphysema and terminal throat cancer, it doesn't matter.... murder is murder. You don't get a discount on the sentence based on what pre-existing condition your murder victim had or how they failed to handled the torture better.

What morons.
